What is drop?
A shoe’s drop is the difference in height between the front and back of the shoe. A lower drop allows for more natural movement when running and reduces biomechanical stress. This type of stress can cause injury. We reduced the drop on the Run Support Easy Shoes by 6 mm (0.24”) to help children maintain a natural stride.
Did you know?Kids’ and adults’ shoes are designed differently.
Children’s feet are narrower than adults’ and tend to occupy less space inside their shoes. Leave a little room to grow so their shoes won’t slow them down at play. As adults know all too well, ill-fitting shoes are difficult to ignore.
