- Hold the snorkel in your hand and move it from left to right. The ball should follow the movement without resistance 
- Check that the seal is present, in good condition and correctly installed 
- Check that all the valves are present, not deformed and are lying flat
- Check the assembly of the mask and make sure that the skirt is correctly fitted on the frame and glass
- Never use the mask without the snorkel

Before each use, check your Easybreath, and especially your child's: 

If it fogs up over your eyes, we recommend repeating the 4 steps set out above, properly repositioning your Easybreath mask, and checking that the size of your Easybreath is correctly fitted to your face. If the issue continues, do not use the mask and contact your closest Decathlon store.

What if my mask is fogging up?

Snorkeling is an easy and fun activity for all the family! Breathing through a snorkel is more physically demanding than regular swimming. If you feel tired, short of breath or dizzy, remove your mask and get out of the water.
Do not use this product if you have cardiovascular or respiratory problems (lung infection, angina, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, etc.). If in doubt, consult your doctor.

Snorkeling safety

Decathlon’s Junior Easybreath is an easy-to-use, full-face snorkelling mask 
with a 180° panoramic view and an anti-fog system. It’s the ideal mask for kids aged 6 to 10 years who want to explore the underwater world! 
Easybreath is equipped with our innovative “dry-top-release” system, which helps keeps water out of the snorkel when the wearer hits a wave or is coming up to the surface.

What is Easybreath?

Fresh air is pushed towards the lens before it reaches the wearer’s nose and mouth, which helps keep the mask from fogging up.
The moisture- and CO²-rich air is then pushed out through channels located inside the mask’s rim. The air is constantly renewed. By separating the flow of air going in and out of the mask, the wearer is always breathing in fresh air.

How does the Easybreath work?

The Decathlon Junior snorkelling mask is not suitable for diving. The air volume in this snorkelling mask is greater than that of traditional diving masks. From just 1 m down, the pressure of the mask becomes very uncomfortable on your face. Freedivers also need to be able to decompress, which is impossible with the Easybreath mask because the nose is inaccessible.

Can I dive with my Junior Easybreath?

This product is ideal for kids who want to observe the underwater world from the surface without worrying about breath techniques.
It provides a comfortable fit and a wide field of vision.

Why choose Easybreath over a traditional valve mask?

The mask uses Dry-top technology. This system was developed to stop water from getting into the snorkel when there is choppy water, small waves on the surface, in case of submersion or when the user leans their head too far forward to observe the seabed. The snorkel has a float that rises to close the opening when it is immersed under the surface of the water. When this happens, remember to blow when the snorkel is taken out of the water to make sure that the float descends properly.

How the dry-top system stops water from entering

The Junior Easybreath mask adapts to fit children between the ages of 6 to 10. . 
Full masks also exist for people older than 10 years and they come in 2 sizes, covering 90% of faces. 
From the age of 10 and for smaller faces, choose S/M.

Choosing Easybreath size

You can repair your Easybreath mask to extend its lifespan. Spare parts are available through after-sales service at your local Decathlon store or online.  Part codes: strap - 8316952, valve - 8363399, snorkel - 8559605, white cover - 8590394.

Can Easybreath mask be repaired if it breaks?

Watch out for sand! Avoid placing the Easybreath Surface Mask Child XS (6-10 years) mask come into contact with sand as this can scratch the lens of the mask. In the presence of sand, do not force the snorkel into place. well before clipping them together. Sand can also clog the float valve inside the snorkel. Use a key that you can fit through the snorkel’s rear vents to unblock the float valve, then rinse the snorkel thoroughly.
