A reflex ball is first and foremost a fun way to train and develop hand–eye coordination—an essential skill for any boxer. Better coordination means you can dodge strikes more easily and increase both the speed and accuracy of your punches. It’s a technical exercise, but also an enjoyable one that makes training more engaging.

Why use a reflex ball?

For an effective workout, it’s crucial to adjust the elastic to the correct length. Start by putting on the headband, then attach the elastic in the designated spot. Next, adjust the length of the elastic so that, when your fist is closed, the ball hangs at wrist level. Tie a knot to secure it. Any extra elastic can be trimmed or tucked into the headband. For experienced boxers, shorten the distance between the attachment point and your wrist.

How to adjust a reflex ball

For regular workouts, it’s best to wear gloves, glove liners or mitts to protect your hands. Put yourself in a combat mindset and work your footwork.

The 2.5 m boxing wraps are made with fabric that is a blend of polyester and cotton, to provide greater durability and flexibility.

Design of the 2.5 m Wraps

Boxing hand wraps are designed to hold joints in place (metacarpals and wrists) as well as prevent irritation in areas that suffer repeated blows.
They also absorb perspiration from hands and extend the gloves’ life.

Why use boxing wraps? 

For low-impact use such as for touch sparring, the 2.5 m or 3 m wraps are more than sufficient; make sure the wrap covers the key zones (thumb, metacarpus, and wrist).
For more intense use, such as sparring at full force, opt for the 4 m or 4.5 m wraps. They are thicker and provide stronger support and better protection of the metacarpals.

All our gloves are lab-tested on a thermal hand. The temperature ratings (recommended and limit) come from a study with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 5°C to -20°C and 10 km/h (6 mph) winds. These temperature ratings are only valid in walking conditions.
The MT 900 Gloves have a warmth rating of 3 out of 5. Recommended temperature: -5°C
Limit temperature: -10°C. 

How is usage temperature measured?

Just like you wear several layers of clothing when hiking, you can wear liner gloves under your gloves that will act as a thermal base layer. This multi-layer system enables pockets of air to form around your hands, efficiently insulating them from the cold. Remember to wear large enough gloves so your fingers do not become constricted. Compression reduces blood circulation in the fingers.
