In what conditions should this compression bag be used?

The roll-top fastening consists of folding the top of the bag three times, then attaching it with the buckles. Why should I choose a running T-shirt made of synthetic fabric? 

When you find a good running and trail T-shirt, you want to hold onto it as long as you can. For this reason, it's crucial to wash your top correctly. 
- Wash it with other T-shirts and like clothes, but nothing with metallic parts (zips, buttons, etc.).
- Put it through a mild cycle (30°C) with just the right amount of washing powder.
- Do not machine dry or expose it directly to the sun: UV rays cause discolouring and damage the fabric.
