Snorkeling is an easy and fun activity for all the family! Breathing through a snorkel is more physically demanding than regular swimming. If you feel tired, short of breath or dizzy, remove your mask and snorkel and get out of the water.
The use of this product is not recommended if you have cardiovascular problems (chest infection, angina, asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, etc.). Consult your doctor if in doubt.

Snorkeling safety

When snorkeling, immersion or splashing can cause water to enter the tube. If this happens, the bottom valve makes it easier to expel the water. Unlike traditional snorkels, most of the water is drained from its lower valve, so the diver doesn’t need to blow hard to push the water out of the top.

Blow gently to expel any accumulated water. Inhale carefully after draining, as some water may remain in the snorkel. If this happens, lift your head out of the water and the snorkel will drain instantly.
High-speed intensive swimming is not recommended, as the valve may get displaced and let water in.

The Olu 120 is an inflatable product that allows you to observe the seabed without putting your head under water, while remaining supported by an inflatable structure. Snorkelling becomes more pleasant: with your head out of the water, you can move, talk, and chat, while still observing!

What is the point of the clips on the sides of the OLU 120?

The OLU 120 is inflated in two steps for two reasons:
- first, to limit the formation of condensation. This is where the OLU 120 is innovative, because it has an air circuit that prevents condensation from forming when being inflated.
- second, for your safety. If one of the chambers is accidently punctured, the second one is still there to support you.
The large black valve at the rear is used for quick and easy deflation.

Why is the OLU 120 inflated in two steps?

The Olu 120 is covered with a transparent film that offers a clear view, without deformation. To make the most of it for longer, take good care of it! Avoid anything that could scratch or cloud the film, like sand, stones, sunscreen, or other abrasive or greasy products.

How to make the most of the OLU 120?

Depending on its position, the sun may cause some slight reflections in the viewing chamber. No need to panic. Just use your hands to create some shade, and you can carry on observing.

What can I do if there are reflections on the OLU 120?

The air circuit prevents condensation from forming in the Olu 120, but small patches of condensation may appear on the top of the bubble, especially when getting out of the water. Don’t worry. Once back in the water, the condensation disappears. All the walls reach the temperature of the water and the condensation evaporates.

This mask needs no preparation (toothpaste, flame, anti-fog spray) before use. 

To activate the film, first soak the mask in water and lightly rub the inside of the lens before diving.
