What cooking modes are offered by the 4-person stainless steel barbecue?
Just like its younger brother, this XL BBQ allows you to cook in several different ways: - in traditional barbecue mode for your grills; - in heating mode, by placing pots, frying pans or planchas directly on the grill; - in “brasero” mode to enjoy a social campsite fire. Comes with two grill heights so you can adapt the cooking mode according to your needs: hold from the bottom, heat up at the top. After lighting the barbecue, keep at least 2 litres of water on hand to help manage the fire.
What elements comprise this compact stainless steel 8-person barbecue?
The whole camping barbecue grill consists of: - 1 body with feet; - 1 ash tray; - 1 cooking grill adjustable to two different heights; - 1 "cold hand" handle; - 1 lid (tray and serving); - 1 grill firebox; - 1 carry case.
How do you use the 4–8 person camping barbecue safely? Start by reading the instructions carefully.
Before use, make sure you are in a place that allows fire or barbecues and don’t use it within 5 metres (16 feet) of a tent or living space. Do not used in enclosed spaces. During use: - The barbecue becomes very hot—don't touch it until it is completely cold unless using specific gloves. - Flames come out from the top of the product. Take caution in windy conditions as flames will be larger and hotter.
How to light the compact stainless steel barbecue?
- Place a layer of charcoal on the "grill hearth" located at the bottom of the ash tray. - Put small pieces of wood on top with some firelighter. The drier the wood, the better the combustion. - Light and let the fire catch naturally. - As soon as the wood combustion is optimal, refill with charcoal on top (don’t exceed the maximum level—read the instructions) and mix using the "cold hand" handle. - For perfect embers, fan the fire using the lid.
How do you get delicious grills with the compact stainless steel 4 to 8 person barbecue?
As soon as the embers are glowing, place the grill so that it heats on its own for 2 minutes. It must not touch the embers. Handle the grill with the “cold hand”. Arrange the food on the grill using a utensil. There must be no flames in contact with food, otherwise remove it from the fire for a moment. Hold then turn the food frequently on each side. Once cooked, leave them to stand on the lid covered with aluminum paper.
How to care for the compact stainless steel camping barbecue
After cooking, clean the hot grill with a metal brush. Wash the grill afterwards with warm soapy water using a soft sponge or a brush specially designed for tenacious residue. The removable drum makes it easier to remove the embers. Made entirely from stainless steel, it is rust resistant and can be put in the dishwasher at the end of the cycle.
How to store the compact stainless steel camping barbecue
Once you’ve finished using your barbecue, it will remain hot for a long time. Make sure the fire is completely out, spray with water to speed things up and ensure it goes out fully and cools right down. Move the barbecue and empty the ash tray. Once the barbecue has cooled down, put it back into its storage/carry bag.
