Check all the information indicated on the sidewall of the tire (diameter and width). For example, 700 x 35 means that the tire is 700 mm in diameter and 35 mm wide.
The dimensions in mm are also on the tire sidewall.
For example, 36-622 means that the tire is 35 mm wide with a 622 mm inner diameter (approx. 700 x 35).

How to choose your inner tube

Remove the old inner tube using Btwin tire levers.

Removing an inner tube

Check the condition of your tire and replace it if necessary. 
Make sure no objects are lodged in the tire.
Check the condition of your tire rim strip.
A rim strip that’s even slightly bent can cause punctures.
Check that your rim doesn’t have any other issues that could damage your inner tube.

Checks to carry out before installing an inner tube

Watch our video before you start.
Pre-inflate the inner tube slightly to avoid pinching.
Make sure you’re using the correct valve for your rim and then insert it.
Put the entire inner tube inside the tire so that it fits inside the rim.
Take care not to pinch the inner tube when installing it.

Installing the inner tube

Start installing the tire at the valve.
Finish installing the tire across from the valve to avoid pinching the inner tube.
Never install your tire with a tool or a tire lever, as you risk pinching or puncturing the inner tube.

Installing the tire

Carefully inflate your tire to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the tire sidewall in PSI or bars: 1 bar = 14.51 PSI).
Regularly check that your tire is in the correct position as you inflate it.

How to look after your bike:

There are 3 steps to follow with this dry weather bike chain lubricant.
Once you've applied the degreaser (step 1), don't forget to spray the bike cleaner, rinse, and dry it (step 2) before applying the bike chain lubricant (step 3) to make your bike work like new.

How to use this product: 

Remember to degrease your chain before applying new grease in order to remove any residue that could make abrasive contact with your drive train. This will help your equipment last longer and save you money.

Inspect the tread to measure wear and to know when they need replacing. The tread comes into direct contact with the ground, determining your tire’s performance.
Replace your tire when the centre knobs are worn down to the same height as the side knobs.

How to measure tire wear

To remove your tire, start by deflating the inner tube completely.
Then separate the tire from the rim with a tire lever.

How to remove a tire

Make sure the arrow on the sidewall is pointing forward.
To put your tire back on, place the bead (the rigid part that determines the shape of your tire) on the rim.
Next, inflate your inner tube by approximately 30% before fitting it to the rim (inflating it beforehand reduces the risk of pinching the inner tube).

Fit the second bead to the rim, starting on the side opposite the valve.


How to fit a tire

Inflate the tire with caution. The recommended pressure is indicated on the side of the tire and on the product sheet (available online).
Always make sure your tires are at the correct pressure before heading out on your ride.

How to inflate your tire correctly

During inflation, it is important to obtain the right pressure depending on the terrain and especially depending on the weather.
When riding in rainy weather, lower the tire pressure to improve your grip.
When riding in dry weather, increase the pressure for better performance.
