This T 500 Rain Jacket was specially designed for young soccer players playing in wet, windy weather. We wanted the T 500 Rain Jacket to be waterproof and durable with a design that works for playing soccer. The ventilated interior mesh lining provides good ventilation. You'll love the two side zipper pockets.

The hood is a key element for young soccer players: it needs to protect without getting in the way. For your child’s safety, the hood on this jacket has no cords. An elastic section holds the hood in place while allowing the head to move freely with good peripheral vision. We also included a useful visor to keep rain out of the eyes.

Did your liner gloves get wet?

Dyeing fabrics uses a lot of water, chemical products, and energy. However, we enjoy wearing colour. To reduce the impact, we use the dope dyeing technique where powder colour pigments are added when the yarn is produced (and not by soaking it in dye baths as is usually the case). This reduces consumption and wastewater discharge from colouring our fabrics.

All Wedze gloves and mittens have a water-repellent treatment that makes water slide across the fabric’s surface instead of being absorbed. This means the fabric does not become saturated. It remains light and warm. A treatment applied to the outer surface makes the fabric water repellent. To remain effective, this treatment must be renewed every 2 to 3 washes with specific products that are available in our stores.

The mitten’s waterproof membrane consists of a very thin polymer film placed between the lining and the part of the glove in contact with the environment. This membrane acts as a barrier to make the product waterproof. The product’s exterior materials are also treated for water repellency. Only a rubber-type glove is watertight. Under extremely wet conditions, a glove with a membrane will have limited waterproofness.

We have incorporated 100% recycled polyester in this product. What does that mean? As well as being technical, this product has been designed taking into account its environmental impact. In a nutshell: Polyester yarn is made from oil. Using recycled polyester is a way to reclaim and repurpose waste products such as manufacturing remnants or plastic bottles instead of using new oil resources. That’s a step in the right direction.

With the help of your feedback, we've created a product designed to meet the needs of more experienced players. When you're in the heart of the action, the pace picks up and the intensity varies. You need ultra-breathable clothing to regulate your body temperature during intense play. The base layer is close-fitting to quickly absorb perspiration and keep your body warm.

These tights are made from a weave that blends a polyester thread (67%), which helps wick away perspiration, with a polyamide thread (30%) to provide greater softness and fight unpleasant odours. These two threads, combined with elastane, are extremely comfortable and feel like a second skin.
