Design
Down jacket (90% down and 10% feathers) provides comfort. Heat zones added where you need them most. Stretch zones on the back, sides, and underarms for freedom of movement. Breathable stretch fabric wicks away perspiration. The hood fits under your helmet, and the high collar protects you from the elements.
Directions
During intense physical exertion, dressing too warmly can actually make you feel cold. If perspiration can’t evaporate, it stays on your skin. Wear a liner jacket that you can take off in mild weather. Also make a habit of opening the vents before you get too hot and closing them before you get cold when switching from exertion to inactivity.
What should you wear under your ski jacket?
To stay warm and dry, follow the 3-layer rule: first, a base layer; second, a liner jacket layer for warmth; and third, a ski jacket to protect you from bad weather. The base layer keeps you dry by wicking perspiration away from the skin to the other layers. The second layer provides warmth. It could be a down jacket or fleece sweater.
The third layer

How do I dry my down jacket?
When you take your down jacket out of the washing machine, it will look as if the down has disappeared. The best way to restore loft and fill power is to tumble it dry. Put your down jacket in the dryer with 2 tennis balls for 2 or 3 drying cycles. If you don’t have a dryer, you can always dry your down jacket on a clothes rack, regularly shaking it out and turning it over.
