I have the 40-60l version. like it but it is a little too big for short trip. I like this new 30-40l version. lighter and more practical for short trip. what missing is the top and bottom grab handle.

After using 2 times I am writing this review. This duffel is made specifically for trekking as mentioned in the description. I was forced to choose this one because of its straps. It fits a 5.11(me). Other backpacks like Travel 100, 32L NH Escape etc I tried(returned them) but

Travel 100 (40l) pulls towards back and starps are small for my height and plastic buckle adjusters pokes near armpits. on the other hand Escape 32L is an very impressive and has very comfortable straps,but if u put 32L of weight (full) it's hard bend with it(loved it,had to return for stitching issue near Power Bank pocket). This duffel has taller and broader straps which are good. I felt comfortable packing with in 32L & kept it compressed. Weight increases in absence of padding at back and if you put more than a 500ml water bottle. I use packing cubes to maintain the shape of the bag very mindfully which helps to carry it otherwise uncomfortable at back or at hand.NO SHOULDER STRAP HOOK or Water bottle holder- big con. Waterproofing works if the bag is horizontal/ at hand, if it's in your back water slowly gets in. I found this in Orissa (during -platform to transport/waiting time etc. in rainy season). I found trekking backpacks are more comfortable to wear with adjustable frames but they are not for travelling. This bag will fit most airline's carry on requirements and very good if you are mindful in your packing.Last time, I packed it with 4 packing cubes( clothes of mine,wife's & 3yr old son) of clothes with toiletry & kept a 20L backpack (NH100) separate for other items (water bottle, umbrella,rain jacket,hats, charger etc.) For a 9 day trip (Hospital,OT) to Hyderabad by train from Kolkata(Birbhum). Go for it after understanding it. Best thing at home it takes very less space(careful about its rubberish coating) and it will not break if u put pressure on it or bump it or airline luggage handers mis handles it. I will give 3.5stars if price was lower it would have been great.
