How comfortable is this backpack?

This backpack has a large compartment for your essentials, two zip pockets, one with an inner pocket for your valuables. A stretchy mesh pocket on the side also fits your water bottle or umbrella.

What is its storage capacity?

This backpack is water repellent. In light rain, water will roll off without penetrating it. However, it is not completely waterproof. If the rain goes on too long or is too heavy, water will seep through. For extra protection, choose our 10-20 L rain cover (ref. 8772113).

For your comfort, we have provided 2 zipped pockets on the sides of the jacket, and another on the chest. Ideal for carrying your mobile! We have also added a two-way zip to offer greater freedom of movement when sitting or crouching.

This jacket's comfort features

To adapt it to all body types, we have added a drawcord to adjust the waist. You can also tighten the back of the hood as you wish. The cuffs can be unfolded to lengthen the sleeves.

It keeps you dry when the skies suddenly open up, thanks to its 5,000 Schmerber waterproof fabric and the assembly of the various parts, which are stitched and then sealed. Tested in our "Decathlon shower", it can withstand 6 mm of rain in 1 hour.

How waterproof is it?

Schmerbers measures the waterproofing ability of a fabric. The higher the number, the drier you stay. Our jacket delivers 5,000 Schmerber: it’s resistant to the pressure exerted by a 5 m column of water! It also protects you from 60 L/m²/h for 1 hour.

What is a Schmerber?

2 simple methods to restore the water-repellent properties of your jacket:
- Tumble dry on a synthetic cycle for 15 min
- Hairdryer: 2 passes at a distance of 20 cm
Repeat every 3 washes (thorough rinsing is essential) or 10 rainy outings.

Why should I choose a running T-shirt made with a synthetic fabric?

When you find a good running essential, you want to hold onto it as long as you can.For this reason, it's essential to wash your top correctly. 
- Wash it with other T-shirts and not with clothes that have metallic parts (zips, buttons, etc.)
- Put it through a mild cycle (30°) with just the right amount of washing powder
- Avoid drying it in a dryer or exposing it directly to the sun: UV rays cause discolouring and damage the fabric.
