What's new in 2023 compared to the previous version?

Thanks to your feedback we have made changes to improve your experience. - The lights are now USB rechargeable, more powerful and positioned higher. - Integration of the front carrying interface for the future 25 L (22 qt.) front bag for folding bikes (ref: 8735484). - Length-adjustable stand. - Built-in interface for a smartphone mount on the handlebar. - New lever on the seatpost clamp for better clamping force.- Handle under the saddle.

Frame

6061 T6 aluminum frame—lightweight, dynamic, and sturdy. The very easy side-fold system with a lever helps to save space: at home, at the office, in the trunk of a car or in a camper... you'll forget your bike is even there. Mechanism to quickly lock the frame and stem so you can keep the bike folded and transport it easily.In order to improve your bike's stability once folded, the frame is equipped with a bike stand under its base.

Brakes

Steel V-brake and caliper guarantee effective and progressive braking.

Handlebars/stem/steering

Semi-raised aluminum handlebars with a 60 mm (2 1/3") rise for adjusting the steering position to suit your body shape and improve handling. Handlebar width: 560 mm (22"). Fixed aluminum stem with quick-release lock for greater stiffness compared to a height-adjustable stem. Distance from saddle to handlebar: 540 mm (21 1/4"). Bottom bracket to saddle distance: 480 mm to 780 mm (19" to 31").

Saddle/seat post

- A new seatpost clamp designed to improve the clamping force. It's also more pleasant to handle thanks to its ergonomic shape. Anti-theft, anti-rotation aluminum seat post 31.6 mm (1 1/4") in diameter.- Comfortable, seamless foam saddle to stop water getting in.

Wheels

20" (51 cm) single-walled aluminum rims.

Tire

Tires with anti-puncture reinforcement. Size 20" x 1.75". We've developed these tires using Skinwall technology for lower weight and higher performance. To minimize the risk of punctures and increase your bike's performance, inflate your tires to between 3.5 and 4.5 bar.

Crankset

- The fold-up pedals reduce bulk when the bike is folded. Once the pedals are folded up and the stem folded down, the bike can be stored against a wall and takes up very little space (26 cm [10"] wide). - 52-teeth chainring.- Steel cranks: 170 mm (7").

USB rechargeable front and rear lights

USB front light: - 5-hour battery life. - 10 lux for seeing and being seen. - Clips onto a special bracket in the centre of the handlebar. USB rear light: - 6-hour battery life. - 5.4 lumens. - Clips onto the seat clamp. It's positioned nice and high so that you're really visible. These lights comply with the French highway code and with German standards. The dual port micro USB cable is supplied with the bike

Compatible with a rear pannier rack.

The frame has inserts to attach the special rear pannier rack for 20" (51 cm) folding bikes.

Specific accessories compatible with folding bikes

- The 20" (51 cm) protective cover (ref: 8271631): can be used to cover your bike when transporting it (commuter train, car, cross-country train, etc.). The cover comes in a zip-up pouch that you can attach to the underside of your bike’s seat. - 25 L (22 qt.) front bag for folding bikes (ref: 8735484): for carrying all of your belongings. Clips onto the front of the bike's frame in 1 second. - smartphone holder (ref: 8595221): clips onto the bracket on the handlebar.

How can you carry your bags at the front?

The bike comes with mounting points on the frame (above the front wheel). These mounting points can be used for an exclusive bag designed by the B'Twin teams: our 25 L (22 qt.) front bag (ref: 8735484). It can be clipped on and taken off with 1 hand in 1 second. As it sits on the frame, you won't notice its weight and the bike will remain stable. You'll be able to control your bike as normal. /!\ When your bag is full, you won't be able to lift up the front wheel to mount sidewalks and curbs.

Accessories that are not compatible

- Pannier racks that attach to the seat post are not compatible either. - Not compatible with child seats. - Not compatible with child trailers.

Bike stability: 2 stands

Bike stability: 2 stands - Adjustable stand with a button to adjust the length. The stand keeps the bike stable when it's unfolded (whether or not you have bags on it). - Frame support stand that the bike rests on as you fold it and that protects the chainset.

User height and maximum load

One frame size only. This bike's geometry is comfortable for cyclists between 1.45 and 1.85 m (4'9" and 6'1") tall. This bike complies with the requirements of standard ISO 4210. The maximum load it can take is 100 kg [220 lbs] (bike + user + luggage). Above this weight, the warranty no longer applies.
