For optimal protection

This product has a breathable waterproof fabric (RET = 12) that limits condensation on the inside.
We have measured its evaporative resistance (RET) using a test based on the ISO 11092 standard. The lower its resistance, the more the fabric allows perspiration to escape, increasing its breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric. 9 < RET < 12 = highly breathable fabric. 12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric. RET > 20 = slightly or not breathable fabric.

These PPE overpants are certified for visibility according to the new EN17353 standard (previously EN1150), making cyclists visible at night thanks to the reflective bands on the calves.
The reflective elements have been carefully positioned to account for the constraints of cycling so that they guarantee 360° visibility at 50 m at night when car headlights are shone on them.

These overpants are easy to put on as they open from the foot all the way up to the knee. You can put them on whether sitting or standing, no matter what shoes you’re wearing.
To keep your overpants in good shape, we recommend fully opening the zippers when you put them on so that they won't catch on your shoes.

To preserve their waterproofing, we recommend regularly reactivating the fabric's water-repellent property. You can do this every three washes or after a dozen uses in the rain. The overpants’ water-repellent property can be easily reactivated with heat: put them in your dryer for about 15 minutes. After washing, be sure to rinse completely.

How to care for your overpants

You can clip lights behind each leg using the 2 attachment systems.For more freedom of movement, you can use pant clips to tighten the cuffs.

Waterproofness is a fabric’s ability to prevent rainwater from soaking through. A fabric’s waterproofing is determined by measuring its resistance to pressure exerted by a water column, measured in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard).The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. This fabric is waterproof to 2000 mm, meaning that it resists the pressure of a 2000 mm water column (which is about the same as a 2-hour downpour).

What is a waterproof fabric?

To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on the ISO 11092 standard). 
The fabric has a breathability rating (RET) of 8 on a scale out of 40.
The lower the rating, the more the fabric lets through any water vapour generated by your body during exercise.

Is this fabric breathable?
