Warm and waterproof when used in the UK. Comfortable or fit even with wide feet. Went to Norway, only time my toes felt cold and wet was when we were walking in the snow with a 60 KPH wind (-20). I wore Merino socks with them and I think it was the sweat I felt rather than sno
