Pants with 2 different components:

- a durable fabric (207 g/m²) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (seat, bottom of the leg at the front). This fabric is also stretchy for freedom of movement. It has been treated for water repellency.

- a lightweight, breathable fabric (150 g/m²) on the rest of the pants.

Dual-component structure

These pants have water-repellent zones (lower front of the leg and the seat) that prevent water from seeping through. This product is water-repellent, not waterproof.
The water-repellent areas slow down the rate at which water and moisture is absorbed, but they will not keep you dry in steady rain. To restore the water-repellent property, tumble dry on low heat for 10 minutes. Alternatively, we recommend you wear waterproof rain pants (product number 8504646).

Connection

1/ Connect the pump to the lighter socket with the engine running.

This is a Decathlon-exclusive padel innovation: The racket is made from a single piece of EVA foam covered with a composite fibre surface. The larger EVA foam surface increases the head's sweet spot and therefore makes it more forgiving of centring errors, resulting in better ball control.

What is Full EVA?

Padel emerged in Mexico in the late 1960s. This fun sport soon found its way to Spain, Argentina, and later to all Spanish-speaking South American countries. Padel is currently the second-most played sport in Spain, behind football but ahead of tennis. There are eight million players around the world.

Do you know what padel is?

Matches are played in teams of two (doubles). Two serves are allowed and must be played underhand, diagonally across the court. One bounce is allowed. The ball must hit the ground before any other part of the court. The ball can be hit against a wall after it has bounced (wall only, not the metal fence). The ball can leave the court after bouncing and can be hit back into play from outside the court. The points system is the same as tennis.

How do you play padel?

For a better start, use balls designed for beginners. They are softer and slower for learning to control shots easier. Appropriate shoes will prevent slipping on padel courts, often in artificial grass with sand.
Finally, taking classes will help beginners learn faster and avoid developing bad habits, such as using the same techniques in tennis or squash.
