Note: not suitable for walking on glaciers or in steep, snow-covered couloirs, which strictly requires mountaineering crampons.

Aluminum is not isothermal. Use a cover if you want to keep liquids cool.
Not suitable for carbonated drinks, dairy products, or acidic drinks (fruit juices, energy drinks). Do not microwave, freeze, or expose to flames.


Directions for use

Use the straw so you don’t have to tilt your head back while drinking.
You can remove the straw to drink from the bottle directly. However, this may create a noise caused by the intake of air upon contact with the water.
The cap has a handle so you can easily carry the water bottle or hang it from a backpack strap or carabiner.

Clean your water bottle with regular dish soap and water after every use. The product is also dishwasher safe. Please note that the seal might come off in the dishwasher. If this happens, be sure to put it back on so your bottle stays watertight. Dry the cap and bottle separately.

The resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of a water column in mm that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the JIS 1092 standard).The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric.This jacket can withstand 5,000 mm of water (equivalent to a rain shower lasting 1 hour).
To approve this, the MH 500 Waterproof Hiking Jacket was placed in a shower for one hour with a volume of 60 L of water/m²/h. This test reproduces average rain shower conditions in the mountains.


How is the water resistance of the MH 500 Waterproof Hiking Jacket measured?

Fabric breathability is measured by its thermal evaporative resistance (RET). 
This allows sweat to escape during physical activity, preventing it from accumulating on the skin. 
The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric.

RET ≤ 6: very breathable fabric
RET ≤ 12: breathable fabric
RET ≤ 20: little or no breathability

How breathable is the MH 500 Waterproof Hiking Jacket?

Resistance to wear and abrasion test: for example, we test our fleeces in the lab to ensure they do not pill. Colourfastness test: we check colourfastness to ensure colours don’t bleed if they come into contact with saliva. Aging test: Verifies that repeated washing does not alter the fabric’s properties, performance, thickness, or appearance.

How is the resistance of the MH 500 Waterproof Hiking Jacket tested?

1/ Machine wash (30°C to 40°C): fasten hook-and-loop tabs and zippers. Use gentle detergent. Wash jackets and pants inside out. Loosen straps and elastics. 
2/ Avoid bunching the garment in the washing machine as this can damage it. 
3/ Do not mix garment types and colours. 
4/ Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
5/ Choose a long rinse and gentle spin cycle.
6/ Hang to dry or run it through the dryer (minimum temperature, minimum duration).

It's important that young soccer players use the right ball size, no matter their age.
Size 3 for < 9 year olds.

Size 4 between 9 and 12 years.
Size 5 for over 12 year olds.

In addition, we have conducted numerous lab and field tests to guarantee the ball's ability to withstand every hit.

How big is it? What’s the circumference?

Average measured variation: maximum of 2%.
We measure the ball’s sphericity at 4,500 different points and then examine any discrepancies. 
If the discrepancy is greater than 2% (FIFA Pro Standard), our engineers work on improving the sphericity to ensure a consistent bounce.

A round ball?

We inflate the ball to the recommended pressure (11.6 psi).
The ball cannot lose more than 15% of its pressure over the next 72 hours, meaning a maximum pressure loss of 1.5 psi. The pressure after 72 hours must be approximately 10.1 psi.
This also means that it’s quite normal for a ball to lose pressure after a few days.

To simulate rainy playing conditions in a lab, we put the ball in 2 cm of water on a pivoting support and subjected it to 250 compressions.
By the end of the test, the ball must not have absorbed more than 15% of its weight. For this ball, it means a maximum of 65 g.

We’ve also tested how much water the ball absorbs.

Between 125 and 155 cm (size 5) with a maximum difference of 10 cm between the ball's highest and lowest bounce. Each ball is dropped 10 times on a steel plate from a height of 2 m.Between 115 and 155 cm (42.3' and 61.0') for size 3 and size 4 balls.

It’s all about the bounce

The most demanding test this ball undergoes is the machine shot test.
The ball must resist up to 2,500 shots against an inclined flat concrete slab at 50 km/h at a distance of 2.5 m.
At the end of the test, we check:
- The ball’s general condition: Stitching must remain intact.
- Circumference: Must not have varied by more than 1.5 cm.

- Sphericity: Must not have varied by more than 2%.
- Air pressure: Pressure loss must not exceed 15%
