Features

Preparation
Count the number of teeth on the smallest sprocket, set the cassette removal tool accordingly, and make sure you know what direction to turn the tool for unscrewing (counter-clockwise).  
PositioningPlace the chain whip on the smallest sprocket (on the outside).Set the tools at an angle of 10 to 10 (on a clock face) to each other.
 Removal
Use the whip to keep the cassette still and unscrew using the cassette removal tool.
Tip: Use your shoulders for extra leverage.

The quick link chain tool is for removing and installing the chain's quick link. The perfect way to quickly remove links when carrying out repairs. 


Positioning: 
Shift the chain onto the small chainring and the small sprocket.
Disassembly: Work on the lower section to prevent sudden lash-back. Derail the chain or use a hook to slacken it.
Caution: 
Carefully locate the quick link. Place the plier handles on either side of the quick link, without applying force anywhere else.

Re-installing:
Position the link on the bottom and check that it’s securely fastened.

How to maintain your bike

Tightening and loosening: 
The thread direction will be different on opposite sides of the bike. Check before applying force.
Alignment: 
Always keep the wrench perfectly straight and parallel to the frame. Misalignment increases the risk of the tool slipping and damaging itself or the housing.
