This CBH900 helmet adapts to different weather conditions with its removable earpieces, top vents, retractable clear visor and 180-degree rear light. This curved visor is not suitable for all eyeglass shapes.
What requirements does this helmet meet?
Complies with the cycling helmet standard EN1078 (2012) + A1. A European standard that establishes the testing methods and requirements for helmets used for city cycling, skating, scooter riding, and skateboarding. The corresponding test requirements and methods cover the following aspects: construction (including field of vision), shock absorption properties, retention system characteristics
Why choose a helmet with built-in lighting?
This Btwin 900 city cycling helmet offers increased safety with powerful LED lighting and integrated light guides at the back of the helmet for 180-degree visibility. As the most visible point on a cyclist is the highest point, it is important to have light on the helmet, especially on poorly lit roads. Charge via USB cable (cable included with helmet) You can replace your lighting unit at our after-sales department.
Lighting: Battery life and charging time
Charge time is 3.5 hours for a complete charge cycle (i.e., from 0 to 100%). Runtime is 5 hours in fixed mode and 10 hours in flashing mode.
Why choose a helmet with a retractable visor?
This B'Twin 900 urban helmet is equipped with a transparent category 0 visor. The visor protects urban cyclists from wind, cold, rain, projectiles and insects. The visor is retractable and can be raised.The visor is protected when raised as it fits inside the helmet and is safe from scratches. This curved visor is not suitable for all eyeglass shapes. The visor can be replaced at our after-sales department.
How to adjust your helmet
For maximum protection, the helmet should fit snugly with the fastening system properly adjusted (not too tight around your forehead). When the straps are properly adjusted, the helmet should not slide forward, back, or sideways. Several sizes are available. We recommend that you try on different sizes to find the best fit.
How to choose your helmet size
If you’re between sizes, choose the larger size. Choosing the right size helmet and getting the fit right is essential. Never buy a helmet for a child that is too big on the assumption that they will grow into it. M: 55 cm–59 cm (21.7–23.2 in) L: 59 cm–62 cm (23.2–24.4 in)
Why does your helmet have to be changed every five years?
It is recommended to replace your helmet every five years, depending on the conditions of use and maintenance, as the shock-absorbing material may degrade over time. To find out your helmet age, simply look at the production date on the inside of the helmet (often under the comfort foam). How you handle your helmet can also influence its life span.
Return conditions for personal protective equipment
Make sure the helmet fits properly. Returns will only be accepted for items which still have their instructions, labels and, if applicable, original packaging.
How to look after your helmet
Do not apply paint, detergent or other chemicals. Do not expose your helmet to temperatures above 50°C (122°F) (for example in a car in the sun). For maintenance, clean only with water, do not use detergents.
