Everything you need to get started in just one set:
This set offers everything you need to get started. In addition to the BT 100 pool table that goes on top of a table, you have: - 2 x 122 cm (48 in) long pool cues, with rubber tip (12 mm / 0.5 in diameter) - 15 numbered US-style pool balls, 44 mm (1.7 in) diameter. - 1 triangle for racking your balls at the start of the game. This set does not come with chalk (rubber tips) or long table legs since it is a tabletop version.
Size, shape, and compatibility explained:
The BT 100 pool set is 118 cm (46.5 in) long and 64 cm (25.2 in) wide with a 108 x 54 cm (42.5 x 21.3 in) playing surface. This is standard format since the length is twice the width. At 12 cm (4.7 in) high (6 cm cushions and 6 cm feet), it fits neatly under a bed. The sides are 4 cm (1.6 in) wide and the tabletop is 0.8 cm (0.3 in) thick. And its weight? The full set weighs 14 kg (30.9 lb). For playing? A playing area of at least 12 m² (129.2 sq ft) will be necessary!
What kind of table does the BT 100 pool set work with?
For the best experience, we suggest placing your BT 100 on a table that comes up to hip-height of the smallest player (it's better for it to be too low than too high). The table adapts to square tables (81 cm [31.9 in] per side or greater), rectangular tables (81 x 75 cm [31.9 x 29.5 in] or greater), and round tables (115 cm [45.3 in] diameter or greater).
How do you maintain a pool cue?
You know how it goes: before you shoot, you put a bit of chalk on the tip of your pool cue. Why doesn't the BT 100 set come with chalk? Because our cues have rubber tips. Rubber tips are easier to maintain and you won’t get covered in chalk! Not suitable for intermediate or advanced players that want to put spin on balls.
Marbles or balls? Holes or pockets? Here are a few pool terms.
If you ever hear the term "holes" when talking about pool, it’s the wrong word! That's right! For starters, you shoot balls into pockets (not holes). But how? By shooting the white ball with a cue. You use a cue, not a stick.
Are you learning to play pool? Here are some tips for starting out:
To get even closer to the real feel of pool, we recommend setting up your BT 100 on a dining table or a desk between 72 and 80 cm (28.4–31.5 in) high. That way, you're playing at the same height as a real pool table. You can start to find the positions where you're comfortable, to improve your accuracy. Do you have a good, stable position? It's time to learn to aim!
