User-friendly and educational
To help you catch more waves, we are making our products as intuitive as possible with the incorporation of instructions. That’s why this bodyboard has carefully placed handles, guiding you into the correct position naturally. Pictograms on the bottom of the bodyboard illustrate each of the key steps to catching waves. A QR code gives you access to tutorials and other useful information: care, 2nd life, etc.
How to choose a bodyboard size
The bodyboard’s size directly influences its stability and ease of handling. It should be tailored to the size of the user. This bodyboard is designed for kids and adults 25–75 kg (55.1–165.3 lb), i.e., over 8 years. Use only in lifeguarded swimming areas.
We design products according to 4 levels of experience. This product is intended for “novice” level.
- Novice: Up to the navel, no fins, in small waves (< 1 m), propulsion by pushing feet on the ground, then riding the wave to the shore. For a 1st wave-riding experience (bodyboard with grips). - Beginner: Gentle turns in waves up to 1 m, propulsion with fins. A must for learning to bodyboard. - Intermediate: Waves up to 1.5 m, more speed, and starting tricks (360°, El Rollo, etc.). - Advanced: All types of waves, command of tricks, even aerial: ARS, 360°, tube...
Safety tip
This bodyboard is inflated by mouth. Inflate gently: an overinflated bodyboard does not glide as smoothly and could become damaged if exposed to high heat. You should lie flat on the bodyboard when catching a wave. Wear a long-sleeved rash guard or wetsuit to prevent chafing. For added comfort, push the valve in flush with the inflated bodyboard.
How to catch a wave
Designed to catch and ride small waves by the seashore, this bodyboard can be used where kids can touch bottom in navel-deep water. When a small broken wave passes (< 1 m), lie belly down on the bodyboard, grasping the handles with your arms bent and your legs stretched out behind you, and push off towards the beach. No need for fins. Comfortable for bare skin. No wax required.
Safety
Warning! Only under constant adult supervision may children use this product. Pay special attention when the wind or current is strong. Safety equipment such as buoyancy aids or armbands are strongly recommended. Not suitable for children aged 3 and under. A separately sold leash can be added.
Maintaining your inflatable bodyboard
To keep your bodyboard in good condition, do not: - Jump onto it in a swimming pool. - Leave it inflated in direct sunlight or in temperatures above 30°C (deflate after use). Never leave it in a vehicle in direct sunlight. - Before entering the water with your bodyboard, make sure it is in good condition, that none of its joints or seams are damaged, that the valve is fully closed, and that it does not deflate.
What if the bodyboard deflates?
It’s normal that the air pressure in the bodyboard drops during the day or when you put it in the water. When there is a drop in temperature, air pressure decreases: If this happens, reinflating is okay. After inflating, it’s not normal for your bodyboard’s air pressure to drop significantly during a session. If this happens, make sure your plug is closed tightly.
