After 5 years of research with 11 child health experts, we've designed shoes with just the right amount of flexion, torsion, and cushioning to support your child's psychomotor development. We were also keen to boost children's self-esteem.So, Playful City are: - pleasing to look at, - fun because they're full of colour, - with a trendy design.
Sneakers that are sporty and trendy
Playful City shoes are as comfy around town as they are in the sports hall (hooray for non-marking soles!).They're so fun and trendy, your child won't be able to wait to get them on their feet. And what's more, they're comfortable and lightweight, so your child will never tire of wearing them. They're tough too, with their woven nylon mesh, reinforcements, and rubber pads under the sole. Basically, they're super versatile!
What makes these sneakers easy to put on and take off?
An energetic child can take on any terrain, indoors or out. The Playful City sneakers are so practical, they've never been so easy to put on or take off.To put them on, simply grab the two pieces of fabric on the tongue and back of the shoe and pull them apart. Putting them on. Fasten with the simple, wide hook-and-loop fastener for easy grip.To take them off? Press down on the rising sole at the back with your other foot and that's it.
Why is breathability important in a shoe?
Did you know that children's feet sweat 3 times more than adults? To avoid moisture and unpleasant odours, children's sneakers need to be well ventilated. The breathable mesh of the Playful City sneakers allows the feet to breathe all day long. Regularly removing the insoles from the shoes also helps to ventilate the shoe.
What sizes are available?
Playful City sneakers are available in sizes 10.5C to 6.5. To choose the right size, we recommend you measure your child's feet with a pedometer. Or even better, have your child try the sneakers on while they stand, looking straight ahead. They'll quickly see if their toes are at the tip of the shoe.
How to look after these sneakers
We recommend taking out the removable insoles regularly to let them air out and dry after a good day's activity.
