Design details

Thermal insulation
Thermal insulation will keep your young skiers at just the right temperature. This garment adapts to the body’s movements and to the outside environment. Wedze uses insulation to keep the body warm. The synthetic component made from polyester stores more or less air, depending on the length of the fibres. The thicker the insulation, the more air it contains and the warmer it is.
Membrane
The membrane is a very fine component applied to the inner surface of the outer jacket fabric. This component prevents water from seeping in (snow, rain, etc.) while allowing perspiration to escape.
Fully taped seams
In addition to using a waterproof fabric, the jacket’s taped seams make it even more watertight. Waterproof strips are affixed to all the inner seams to ensure the jacket is perfectly watertight and guarantee complete water resistance.
Water-repellent properties
Water repellency is a material’s ability to let water bead off the surface without being absorbed. This jacket features water-repellent components that improve its weather resistance. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface. However, this property may deteriorate with use.
Durability
We know how much energy you burn in a day of skiing. That’s why all the product’s components were carefully selected to guarantee durability.
Snow skirt
The snow skirt at the waist offers additional protection. It closes automatically when the ski jacket is fastened. It keeps snow and cold wind out, especially in the event of a fall.
Ski pass pocket
No need to get your ski pass out any more! The sleeve has a ski pass pocket for easy access to the lifts.
Customization
Write your child’s name on the label at the top of the back lining for easy identification. Practical for finding their jacket after ski class or at school.
How to dress your children so they stay warm on the slopes
To make sure you stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-layer rule: - Layer 1, a base layer to keep you dry. - Layer 2, an insulating layer to keep the heat in. - Layer 3, a protective layer against the elements.
