Design details

Frame
Built with a steel frame that better absorbs vibrations from the road for a more comfortable ride. Available in two versions: a step-over frame and a step-through frame that makes it easy to get on and off. Size XS frame weight: 3.5 kg (7.7 lb) Size S/M and L/XL frame weight (steel): 4 kg (8.8 lb)
Fork
Steel fork to absorb small bumps in the road and keep you more comfortable as you ride.
Braking
Front and rear steel calliper V-brakes positioned under the frame, giving the bike a nice, streamlined look. Aluminum brake levers.
Handlebars/stem/steering
Classic Dutch-style steel handlebar with a 22.2 mm aluminum damper stem. Height-adjustable for a very comfortable upright position. Ergonomic grips offer greater comfort on regular rides and are equipped with holders for VIOO clips to keep you visible from the sides. A self-centring spring between the fork and the frame helps stabilize the bike when your front rack or basket is loaded, whether you’re riding or parked.
Saddle and seatpost
Height-adjustable 28.6 mm steel seatpost absorbs vibrations more effectively for a more comfortable ride. Wide saddle features foam padding with variable firmness to reduce pressure points. Saddle is set at a 12° angle for greater comfort and welded in place for added safety. Lockable 31.8 mm seat clamp prevents opportunist theft of the saddle and seatpost.
Visibility
Front and rear lights powered by a rim dynamo. Back light built into the rear fender and front light built into the frame to prevent theft. Rear reflector built into the pannier rack.
Drivetrain / Pedals
6-speed BTwin by MicroSHIFT drivetrain. 40T single chainring crankset, 170 mm steel cranks, 6-speed 14x28 freewheel, rust-resistant KMC chain. 6-speed BTwin by MicroSHIFT grip shifter. Development: 3.15 m to 6.29 m.
Wheels
28″ single-walled aluminum front and rear wheels with 36 spokes. The XS model comes with 26″ wheels. These sizes deliver the added comfort and smooth rolling of a 28″ design. Both wheels are securely fastened with bolts to deter theft. To easily transport your bike in a vehicle, remove the front wheel using a 15 mm wrench. 9 mm threaded front and rear wheel axles.
Tires
Balloon-type tires help smooth out bumps in the road for a more comfortable ride and improved rolling performance. Schrader valves make inflation easy (even at gas stations). Ideal tire pressure is between 3.5 and 4 bar (50.8 and 58 psi). A 1 mm puncture-resistant nylon liner is built into the tread for added protection. XS tires: ETRTO 44-559 (26" x 1.75) S/M and L/XL tires: ETRTO 44-622 (700*45C / 28" x 1.62)
Equipment
Bolted-on front basket, rear pannier rack, rim dynamo-powered lights, front/rear fenders, side-mounted kickstand, chainguard.
Kickstand
Reinforced kickstand to keep the bike stable when parked with the pannier rack and front basket/rack fully loaded.
Compatible accessories
The certified pannier rack can hold 27 kg (59.5 lb) and is compatible with a pannier-mounted child seat or any of our Elops bags. The frame is pre-drilled so you can attach a bottle cage or folding lock to the seat tube. Additional mount holes at the back of the frame let you attach a Ring Lock-type bike lock (available as an accessory). Compatible with a child bike tow (attached to the rear wheel axle).
Choosing your size
Size XS is designed for riders 1.45 m (4′9″) to 1.55 m (5′1″) tall. Size S/M is designed for riders 1.55 m (5′1″) to 1.75 m (5′9″) tall. Size L/XL is designed for riders 1.75 m (5′9″) to 1.95 m (6′5″) tall. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable ride.

The maximum total weight (bike + rider + load) is 100 kg (220.5 lb).
Care instructions
To prevent punctures and get the most out of your bike, check the tire pressure every two weeks if you ride daily, or before each ride if you use it only occasionally. Degrease and lubricate the chain as soon as dirt starts to build up. Wash the frame with soapy water. Do not use a high-pressure water jet.
Storage/transport tips
Store your bike in a cool, dry place. If riding near the ocean, clean your bike regularly to prevent salt damage. Transporting a step-through frame bike on a trunk-mounted bike rack may require an adapter bar.
Use restrictions
Not suitable for off-road use. As this Dutch bike has very wide handlebars, take care when riding along narrow passages indoors or outdoors.
