Design details

Check your Easybreath before each use, especially your child’s:
- Hold the snorkel in your hand and move it from left to right. The ball should follow the movement without restriction. - Check that the seal is in place, in good condition, and correctly positioned. - Check that all of the valves are in place, lying flat, and not deformed. - Check the overall assembly of the mask and make sure there are no defects in the frame skirt assembly or in the lens. - Never use the mask without the snorkel.
What if my mask is fogging up?
If your Easybreath is fogging up around the eyes, go through the 4 steps listed above, correctly repositioning your mask and checking that your Easybreath is the right size for your face.If the problem persists, do not use the mask and contact your nearest Decathlon store.
Snorkelling safety
Snorkeling is a fun, easy activity for the whole family! Breathing through a snorkel is more physically demanding than regular swimming. If you feel tired, short of breath, or dizzy, remove your mask and get out of the water. Do not use this product if you have cardiovascular or respiratory problems (lung infection, angina, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, etc.). If in doubt, consult your doctor.
What Easybreath masks are available at Decathlon?
Easybreath: a mask that allows nose and mouth breathing, offering a wide field of vision and an anti-fog system through air circulation. Available for adults and kids. Easybreath+: includes an acoustic valve that allows you to speak more audibly with your head above water (without having to remove your mask!) Easybreath 900: its soft nose lets you equalize the ears and descend to depths of up to 3 m, so don’t stay on the surface—get down there!
What is the Easybreath+?
The Easybreath+ is the next generation full-face mask devised by Decathlon. Same great features as the previous model: 180° vision, anti-fog, easy to put on. We’ve made this mask more robust, with a more comfortable skirt. It’s also 20% easier to breathe in. New innovative features: a valve to allow communication on the surface, and Dry-top release to prevent breathing interruption during immersion.
Simplified communication!
The valve on the front of the mask lets sound pass through so you can talk with your snorkelling partners while wearing your mask! This function has been tested up to a distance of 3 m.
How does the Easybreath work?
Fresh air is pushed towards the lens before it reaches the wearer’s nose and mouth, which keeps the mask from fogging up. The air packed with moisture and CO² is evacuated through channels located inside the mask’s rim, which lead into the snorkel. The air is constantly renewed. Waterproofing: how the dry-top system stops water from entering
The mask uses Dry-top technology. This system was developed to stop water from entering the snorkel in choppy conditions, during small waves on the surface, in case of submersion, or when the user leans too far forward to observe the seabed. The snorkel is fitted with a float that rises to close the opening when the snorkel is submerged. When this happens, remember to lift the snorkel out of the water and exhale in the mask to make sure the float comes back down.
Can I repair my Easybreath+ mask if it breaks?
Yes, you can extend the lifespan of your Easybreath snorkelling mask! After-sales service is available at your local Decathlon store. Replacement parts (strap, cover, snorkel, valves) are all available online or in store. strap - 8316952, valve - 8363399, snorkel - 8506099, white cover - 8665853.
Can I dive with my Easybreath+ ?
The Easybreath+ is not adaptable for diving. The Easybreath mask's air volume is greater than that of traditional diving masks. From just 1 m down, the pressure of the mask on yiur face becomes very uncomfortable. Freedivers also need to be able to decompress. In the Easybreath+ mask, this is impossible because the nose is inaccessible. An Easybreath 900 mask is what you need to descend below the surface.
Why choose Easybreath over a traditional valve mask?
Decathlon’s Easybreath mask is perfect for users not wanting to dive with a snorkel in their mouth or go deep. The Easybreath is ideal for shallow aquatic activities. It allows natural nose-mouth breathing and a wide field of vision.
What size Easybreath+ should I choose?
The Easybreath+ is available in 2 sizes which fit 90% of faces. For age 10+ and small faces, opt for size S/M. For larger faces, use M/L. To choose the right size in store, tighten the mask to ensure it fits against your face: there should be no gap between your chin and the bottom of the mask.
Can I wear the Easybreath+ if I have a beard?
Having a beard prevents your mask’s skirt from fitting properly. Therefore, the seal of this full face mask is not guaranteed for bearded users. For a watertight seal, shaving is recommended. Alternatively, you might also apply a thick balm such as Vaseline.
Can I wear glasses with my Easybreath mask?
Most glasses distort the mask skirt and prevent a watertight seal. As a result, using this mask with glasses is not ideal.
What precautions should I take with my Easybreath+ mask?
Watch out for sand! Avoid letting your full-face snorkelling Easybreath+ mask make contact with sand as this can scratch the lens. If you find sand in your mask, rinse the snorkel and mask. Rinse the snorkel and mask first. Sand can also clog the float valve inside the snorkel. Vigorously rinse the snorkel or use a key you can fit through its rear vents to unblock the float valve, then rinse the snorkel again.
