Basketball requires dexterity and agility. To make learning easier for children, this ball is 18% lighter than other balls of the same size. This makes it easier for kids to score and pass with success. The outer cover has a foam layer, making it softer than a standard ball. Little hands won’t get hurt, helping your child build confidence.

The perfect ball for playing with the K900 hoop (the ideal Tarmak basketball hoop for children ages 6 to 10) is the K900 Wizzy ball. The K900 Wizzy is a size 5 basketball, which is lighter than a classic ball. It’s the right size for the K900 hoop and means that even young children can shoot farther and higher!
What ball size should you choose?
The ball size depends on the player’s age and gender. Size 1: Ages 2 and up. Size 3 to size 5: Ages 4 to 6/Baby basket under 7 age group (depending on levels and clubs) Size 5: Ages 7 to 10/Age groups under 9 and under 11 Size 6: Boys ages 11 and 12/Under 13 age group Size 6: Girls over 11 and women of all ages. Size 7: Boys over 13 and men of all ages.
Which ball should you use?
For durability, choose rubber. For a good ball feel, choose leather synthetic.
How Much Should You Inflate Your Basketball?
A basketball that is overinflated or underinflated will deliver a subpar playing experience. The recommended pressure is clearly marked on the ball by the manufacturer. Ideally, you should use a pump with a pressure gauge for precision inflation. We recommend a pressure of 8.99 psi. Enjoy your game!
Which net height should you choose?
The official height of a basketball hoop is 3.05 m (10') (rim height). If you want a basketball hoop for your child, you need something that will grow with them. There isn’t an official height for younger kids, so you can choose whatever suits them best. Up to the age of 10, club hoops are set at 2.60 m (8'5"). After the age of 10, both girls and boys play with hoops set at 3.05 m (10').
