Design details

Waterproofing
This dual-coated, waterproof oilskin jacket was tested under simulated rain conditions. It can withstand 2 hours of moderate rain (60 L/m²/h). Fabric is resistant to water pressure of 15,000 mm Schmerber. Made of water-repellent fabric with watertight seams. The front zipper is protected by a storm flap and drainage channel.
Breathability
To determine fabric breathability, we measure its resistance to evaporative heat transfer (RET). An RET < 9 means that this coat is highly breathable, i.e., it allows the body’s perspiration escape.
Sleeves
We’ve added an extendible cuff to the sleeves to keep the warmth in and the wind out. The cuffs are easily adjustable with handy hook-and-loop tabs.
Pockets
5 secure pockets: 2 fleece-lined pockets to keep your hands toasty, 2 spacious pockets for gear, and 1 inner pocket on the left-hand side.
2-way zipper
The 2-way zipper lets you open the jacket from the bottom for greater range of movement.
Hood features
Adjustable hood comes with a discreet fastener on the inside to adapt its depth and side pulls to tighten the hood around your face. A slim visor on the front of the hood keeps the rain off your face.
Product cut
This long, oilskin-coated anorak has a flattering, fitted cut.
Resistance to wear
Plastic-moulded zipper is resistant to salt oxidation.
How to restore water repellency Step 1: Before washing
Close all zips and flaps and remove any parts of the garment that cannot be washed. Loosen the straps and drawstrings and empty the pockets. Then turn the garment inside out to wash it.
How to restore water repellency Step 2: Washing
Wash the jacket using the synthetics cycle (30°C–40°C) with regular detergent. Don’t use fabric softener or bleach, as these could damage the water-repellent coating. Don’t fold your garment too much when you place it in the washing machine. Do not overload. Very important: Run a full rinse cycle or extra rinse to remove all detergent residue.
How to restore water repellency Step 3: Drying
If water no longer runs off the surface of your jacket, even after following the washing and drying guidelines, we recommend that you restore its water repellency using a waterproofing spray.
