The MT3 shoes are designed for all trail distances. Thierry, our Kalenji product manager, loves to call it the “trail adventurer,” your best friend from the moment you strike out on your ultras to the bitter end. Reliable, secure, and stable, these trail running shoes will safely carry you over the rockiest and most challenging mountain terrains.
Great traction and even more grip
Since at Decathlon, we value your feedback and input, our teams have put lots of effort into improving the rubber of our soles and their studs. So, this new sole provides excellent grip, even on wet or slippery rocks, while offering great traction.
A more flexible trail running shoe
Thanks to you, this new MT3 has also improved flexibility: the sole has hollowed-out rubber areas between each lug. Increased flexibility means more fluidity and better heel-to-toe transition. You’ll feel even freer as you run across the faster sections, without any sense of constriction.

Having a pair of trail running shoes you can trust is essential, to enjoy better performance and make the most out of every outing. The MT3 is the perfect ally for trail running: feel safe on any terrain and in any weather. The rock plate at the front and sides provides optimum protection from rocks. The midfoot section of the sole has been widened for even greater stability.
Shoes that suit your stride
At Decathlon, we know that everyone has their own way of running, and that’s why we’ve come up with the K-Only concept. Featuring denser foam under the forefoot, our running shoes are perfectly suited for all strides, while also minimizing the risk of injuries.
Reduced drop for a more natural stride
For this new edition of our trail shoes, we’ve fine-tuned the drop, lowering it to 8 mm. This height is perfectly suited for both your daily runs and your ultra-trail distances.
Once they’re tied, you can forget about them!
If your laces come undone as you’re trail running, it’s not just a hassle, it can also cause you to trip and fall. That’s why the laces on this model are flat and supple, designed to stay perfectly done up. There is a lace pocket to store them in, so that you can simply forget all about them on your run.
Looking for the right size
To optimize your running and feel great in your shoes, as well as for your safety, it’s crucial that you choose the right size. So, when you’re trying them on, make sure you check the position of your foot and don’t hesitate to jog around with it to see how your foot reacts.
