90% down and 10% feather jacket for comfort and lightness. We’ve added heat zones where you need them most, adapted to the needs of freeriders. Stretch zones on the back, sides, and underarms for freedom of movement. Breathable stretch fabric wicks away perspiration. The hood fits under your helmet, and the high collar protects you from the elements.
Directions
During intense physical exertion, dressing too warmly can actually make you feel cold. If perspiration can’t evaporate, it stays on your skin. It is therefore useful to have a midlayer jacket that you can remove in milder temperatures. It’s also important to open or close the vents to match the intensity of your physical effort—before you get too hot or cold.
What should you wear under your ski jacket?
To stay warm and dry, follow the 3-layer rule: 1 skiing base layer, 1 midlayer jacket to retain warmth, and 1 outer layer ski jacket to protect you from the elements. Layer 1: keeps you dry by wicking perspiration from the skin to the other layers. Layer 2: provides warmth and includes down jackets or fleece pullovers.
Down/feather fill power

How to wash your down jacket

How do I dry my down jacket?
When you take your down jacket out of the washing machine, it will look as if the down has disappeared. The best way to restore loft and fill power is to tumble it dry. Put your down jacket in the dryer with two tennis balls. Run 2–3 drying cycles. If you do not have a tumble dryer, dry your down jacket on a drying rack, and be sure to give it a shake from time to time, to help fluff and distribute the fill.
