How to choose the right size
With a pair of socks of your choice, we recommend choosing a pair of boots a size above your usual size to leave space for your toes and avoid rubbing. Try on the boots at the end of the day, when feet are slightly more swollen.
What is a SnowContact sole?
Our snow hiking soles go through a series of tests conducted in France at one of our independent laboratories. Our goal? To measure the soles’ grip on ice. Non-slip rubber and an optimized 3D design ensure excellent grip in the lab and on the snow.
Boot accessories
For extra comfort and warmth, consider accessories such as insulating soles for better temperature regulation. Lacing up your boots well can also help keep cold air out.

Water-repellency means water slides over the surface without penetrating: this is an effective first barrier against dampness. The waterproofing properties fully prevent any water from entering, by means of a membrane. Together, they keep your feet drier for longer.

Our laboratory tests guarantee 3-star waterproofing: your feet stay dry for more than 6 hours of walking in snowy or wet conditions. Perfect for everyday activities!
What kind of membrane?
This boot features a waterproof, breathable membrane between the lining and the outer fabric. It acts as a filter: water can’t get in, but water vapour can escape.
How can I maintain the waterproofing?
With extended wear, the water-repellent treatment can start to fade. To reactivate it: clean your boots and go over them with a hair dryer or a suitable re-waterproofing spray.
What about breathability?
Because feet kept dry are also feet that sweat, the inner foot lining helps to wick away moisture. This prevents the feeling of cold from perspiration.
How to wear your boots
Opt for good-quality socks to maintain comfort and warmth. For pants, consider something really thick, like a soft velvet, ideal for keeping out the wind and cold in mid-winter.
How do I choose the right footwear for hiking in the snow?
To be well equipped in winter, we recommend that you follow these guidelines: Warmth: wear warm socks (ideally with a suitable percentage of wool). Breathability: choose socks based on the intensity of the hike and make sure they’re breathable to limit moisture. Boot height: the height of the sock should correspond to the height of the boot—for more protection, choose higher socks.
How to clean your boots
Clean with lukewarm water, a soft brush, and mild soap. Do not machine-wash. Air dry away from direct heat sources to avoid affecting the leather or the membrane.
