What items are included in the cook set?
1 measuring saucepan with 1 patented folding handle. (1.1 L/37 fl oz) usable, 1.3 L/44 fl oz total, 242 g/8.5 oz, diam. 17 cm/6.7” x 8.5 cm/3.3”) 1 bowl (0.57 L/19.2 fl oz, 52.5 g/1.9 oz) 1 x 3-piece cutlery set (fork, spoon, knife) (20 g/0.7 oz whole set) 1 lid/strainer (59 g/2.2 oz)
What is the cookset made of?
We chose 18/8 (304) stainless steel because it combines food safety and long-term durability. It doesn’t rust and prevents corrosion. It’s very strong and can be used with all types of utensils (including metal).
How did we choose the coating for our cooksets?
Polyamide (cutlery), polypropylene (plate and handle), and Tritan (lid) were chosen because they are lightweight and very resistant to heat (at least 100°C), impact, and warping. All our plastics in contact with food are BPA-free. Make sure plastic parts are not in direct contact with flames.
What you also need to know
Our cooksets are compatible with all types of burners (wood, gas, induction, etc.). The saucepan has a patented 2-part folding handle that locks the lid during transport. The lid fits the saucepan, helps heat food faster, and serves as a strainer.
How to store your cookset
The items are stored inside the cookset. First the 2 soup plates then the cutlery which can be clipped together. The lid then locks in place with the folding handle. The bowl and cutlery are also sold separately.
How to clean and maintain your cookset
Before the first use, rinse all the items three times with clean water. All the items are dishwasher safe, and when used outside they can be washed with soapy water or with water and sand!If the underside of your saucepan is marked, you can use a spiral scourer (stainless steel metal) to clean it. This type of scourer is readily available in any shop.
What to avoid doing with your cooking set
Never heat your saucepans empty as this will deform and damage them. When using with a wood fire, make sure that the flames do not come into direct contact with the plastic parts. Lock the handle properly before using the cookset on the fire.
