- Do you practice gentle yoga (Hatha, restorative, prenatal, nidra, etc.)? The effort level is moderate.
A mat that is between 5 mm and 8 mm thick will provide enough cushioning for your cervical spine and joints.

The resistance of a training band, also called a resistance band or elastic band, corresponds to the force required to stretch it.
It is expressed in kg. For example, a band with a 15 kg resistance requires 15 kg of force to be stretched to 200% of its initial length.

How do you explain the resistance of a training band?

Training bands allow you to work different muscle groups in the same way as with traditional weights:

- Front or side raises

What parts of the body can be worked with training bands?

Always make sure you check the anchoring point of the elastic band to prevent any risk of it coming loose during your workout (especially if you're using it as a support for your pull-ups).
If you notice any nicks or white marks on the band, avoid using it, as this could indicate a risk of breakage during exercise.

How to use a training band safely

Our bands are not designed to be used in a pool. This is because we haven't tested their resistance to chlorine. To preserve all their qualities, we also recommend that you avoid storing them in places exposed to wide variations in temperature or in direct sunlight.
Avoid contact with sharp or abrasive objects: your band will last longer!

How to look after your training bands

The 15 kg (33 lb) elastic band is 1.04 m (41”) long when slack and 13 mm  wide.
The 25 kg (55 lb) elastic band is 1.04 m (41”) long when slack and 24 mm wide.
The 35 kg (77 lb) elastic band is 1.04 m (41”) long when slack and 28.5 mm wide.

Fully inflate your exercise ball and use a tape measure to check the diameter. As a guide, here are the maximum diameters of our exercise balls: Size 1 = 55 cm (22”), Size 2 = 65 cm (25.5”), Size 3 = 75 cm (29.5”). Sit on the ball and check that your knees are at hip level. If not, adjust the inflation level accordingly.
