The brushed interior of this fleece traps air to keep the heat in. Cuffs at the ends of the sleeves also keep cold air out so you stay warm outdoors.

How to dress properly for hiking in cold weather
To face the winter, follow the 3-layer technique: 1) Technical and breathable base layer. 2) Sweater or fleece for warmth and moisture transfer. 3) Jacket for protection against bad weather. Make sure it is all breathable to wick away moisture.
Care
To machine wash your fleece without damaging it, choose a 40°C max. temperature. Turn it inside out and zip up the pockets. Don’t exceed a 1,000 rpm spin cycle. Do not tumble dry.

The recommended size for me was large. I ordered an xl and found it to be too short in length and too tight in the arms. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this product. I have sent it back.
