Please note, if any parts have broken following a fall or impact, you must change your helmet. The shock was absorbed by these parts but also by the helmet. 
If there is another fall in the same place , your helmet will no longer protect you as well and it may have lost the properties which met the standards.

We've designed this helmet with the aim of providing maximum field of vision with no blind spots for greater comfort and safety.
Its rotation/transformation system enables you to easily put your glasses on when the visor is raised or lowered.
Another benefit of this system is that it provides a better fit around the face and is more airtight than a simple rotation system.

You can remove the visor (no tools required) and replace the original lens with a bad-weather lens (sold separately).

How to change the visor

The rotation/transformation system ensures that the helmet is compatible with even the widest pairs of glasses.

The adjustment dial plays a key role in keeping your helmet secure. This system can be easily and precisely adjusted at any time using the easily accessible dial that you can even use with your skiing gloves. It also provides comfort and maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.

The helmet has an injection-moulded, ABS outer shell to withstand powerful impacts. High resistance to bumps and knocks. The internal Epos skullcap absorbs impact during collisions. We recommend changing your ski helmet at least every 5 years unless it has sustained a significant impact in the meantime.

EN 1077 standard

* Measure the circumference of your head in centimetres (around the middle of the forehead, just above the ears).

* Then choose the size that corresponds to this measurement. 
Example: For a head circumference of 56 cm (22”), try a helmet in size 55 cm-59 cm (21.5”–23”).

Choosing the right helmet size

Take plenty of time to try it on properly. You shouldn’t feel any discomfort. If you do, try a different one.
Always remember to try your visor helmet with your prescription glasses if you have them.

When skiing, your helmet should be properly fitted and adjusted:
* It is essential to choose the right size.
* The head circumference should be adjusted using the adjustment dial.
* The chinstrap must be properly adjusted.
It’s a bit like a car seat belt: if it’s too loose, it won’t protect you.

Helmet adjustment

The visor that is provided as standard is a “fair-weather” one (S3). It has a brown/orange tint for greater versatility.
No tools are required to remove it. A “bad-weather” visor is sold separately.
This is a single-lens visor with an anti-fog treatment on the inside (never wipe, but pat with a soft cloth).

When designing this jacket, we studied thermal images of runners with engineers at Oxylane Research. As a result, the jacket’s quilted front panel acts as a windbreak and the fabric of the rear panel provides wicking.

We recommend discarding and replacing your helmet if it has suffered an impact, as damage may not be visible.
