Son is well happy with his bike. Nice and light weight, all round good bike for kid. Also when collected in store, completely set up and tested, without the long collection times of other stores.

Not a bad bike and my lad is very happy with it. The service in store in Edinburgh was excellent, especially from Roxy. The bike itself should come with disc brakes for that price, perhaps covered wiring for the brake cables to help avoid fraying. Frame is nice as is the colou
r but hardware is just ok. Wanted to pay a bit extra for the sturdy frame and shock absorption but in hindsight I would have bought a bike with disc breaks and no shock absorbers.

The chain kept getting loosen and after bringing back to the shop with intitial denial of any issue and it was fixed but the problem occured again and who got the time to keep going back to the shop and fix it?

After having spent half an hour next door at another bike seller and being made feel like a public enemy number one for wanting my son to try two bikes that were not in riding condition on the shop floor (the only reason we went to a shop and did not buy online!) we walked out
, into Decathlon and were made feel welcome, looked after and taken care of despite it being close to the closing time. The bike cost a bit more than I had planned but it was ready to take out and ride off with all the desired accessories after 40 min, not to mention that apart from flat tyres that were sorted in 5 min there were no obstacles to trying any bike you wanted. This is definitely where I recommend you take your business! I bought the bike for my average height 11 year old and it's perfect for him, good size and easily operable gears. It's also of reasonable weight so I can lift it and it fits into my Hyundai i30 with back seats down
