At the beginner level, you are just learning to surf or surf only a few times a year. You ride small or broken waves in shallow waters where your feet touch the bottom. We offer a wide range of swimwear for beginners of all body types.

Beginner surfers

Whether you’re surfing or swimming, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. This model is designed for surfing, but is also suitable for sports such as stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, and swimming.

Versatile beachwear

Popular in women’s lingerie, the push-up style can now be found in our swimsuit collections. The halter straps enhance your neckline while the underwire and band provide a snug, comfortable fit. The neck tie is easy to adjust. This piece is particularly well suited to women with a small or medium-sized bust.

Body type

Our swimsuits are designed to stay in place in the waves. Our women’s styles are tested by a panel of female surfers with different body types. They’re first tested in a pool under simulated surfing conditions, then worn during real sessions in the ocean.

Our work centres on helping women to feel good in our swimsuits. The bust is not flattened, the bottoms don't dig in, and the level of coverage varies. Our mission is to ensure that every woman can find a swimming costume that suits her body, whatever her shape or size.

Feel good in our swimwear

These extra volume cups, which are built into the swimsuit top, push your bust upwards for a more feminine look, in which the two breasts join together to enhance your cleavage. This is called the push-up effect.

The push-up style

Unlike cut and stitched foam pads, shaped cups have no visible seams, cause no irritation, and create a smooth, flattering curve. Most of Olaian’s women’s swimsuits feature padded cups for maximum comfort. In some styles, the cups are removable so you can adjust the fit by a half size.

The Elena push-up bra is fitted with fixed moulded cups.

What are cups? 

Adjustable padded cups can be adapted to your cup size: maximum push-up (A or B cup) and light push-up for larger sizes.

The underwiring provides extra support. Our push-up swim tops show more or less cleavage depending on the shape of the underwiring.

Swimsuits become looser when wet, so it’s important to choose the correct size. Your swimsuit should fit snugly when you try it on in the fitting room. Keep in mind that the elastane in some of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.

Dry sizing and wet sizing

Are you unhappy with the size or style? Would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem, just be sure not to cut off the tag in case you want to exchange it.
