This backpack has a large compartment for your essentials, two zippered pockets, one with an inner pocket for your valuables. A stretchy mesh pocket on the side also fits your water bottle or umbrella.

What is its storage capacity?

By developing your product, we have enhanced the comfort with adjustable straps and vertical foam pads on the back. The ventilated fabric on the back and straps provides better ventilation. As a bonus: thumb loops.

How comfortable is this backpack?

This backpack is water-repellent. In light rain, water will roll off without penetrating it. However, it is not completely waterproof. If the rain goes on too long or is too heavy, water will seep through. For extra protection, choose our 10–20 L rain cover (ref. 8772113).

Why wear thick socks?

A special construction at the tip makes the sock conform perfectly to the shape of the toe area.

EVA foam is not very resistant to tearing. We increased the thickness compared to the previous version and added reinforcements in high-pressure areas.

Good to know

Technologies: This garment was subjected to a shower test using 60 litres of water/sqm/hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces average rain shower conditions in the mountains.

We also made the insoles removable so they can be washed.

How comfortable are the low NH 50 Hiking Boots? 

Designed in our laboratories with a special rubber formulation to optimize the grip and traction of the sole. We research the best sole for hiking on muddy ground (grip) and on dry ground (traction).

What is the grip of the low NH 50 Hiking Boots like on footpaths?

Our hiking boots are designed for hiking trails. We test the sole and upper components we’ve chosen for our footwear to ensure they’re perfectly suited for walking on unpaved trails, such as forest paths, as well as on rocky coastal trails. Wearing them on paved roads can cause premature wear and discomfort. They’re not suitable for mountain hiking.

Fill with water between -20°C and 40°C. Do not fill with alcohol or dairy, etc.
In temperatures below 0°C, blow into the mouthpiece after use to flush out the water and reduce the risk of water freezing in the tube and mouthpiece.
Remove the air from your water bladder by turning the bladder and then directing the air bubbles to the tube while suctioning them.

Directions for use

Slider to fully open bladder and facilitate cleaning.
Sliding seal has hooks so you can hang the water bladder in compatible backpacks.
The mouthpiece has an on/off position (turn the grey part of the mouthpiece) to prevent leakage during hikes. To drink, place mouthpiece in the “on” position and then suck.

Features

Clean the bladder and pipette after each use with standard dishwashing liquid. Use the Btwin brush and drying hanger kit (code: 631585), especially if you had a sugary drink. Do not leave liquid in the water bladder for longer than 24 hours. Do not put in the dishwasher or microwave.

Rinse the entire product 3 times with clean water before the first use.
