500 Boxing Gloves

Used these gloves for couple weeks now and can say that the design of the gloves is kind a innovative, but was probably done by someone who had no exposure to combat sports. The most annoying part is presence of a shoe-type tongue covering the inner part of the arm. The ton

gue is making it very difficult to put on the gloves. It's constantly sliding in, and I noticed that it gets worse with the use. You need a helper to put the gloves on and keep the tongue in a comfortable position. It also severely restricts breathability of the gloves, and makes it difficult to dry them after training. Another inconvenience is the way the Velcro tie-ups are designed. In traditional gloves you can open the glove fully in order to put your hand in, but here the band is going through the loop and doesn't allow to open the glove wide. That makes it even more difficult to put on the gloves by yourself, especially when your wrists are properly taped. And the last point is that the glove is very restrictive to the wrist movement. It works almost as cast keeping your wrist in a position for one type of strike only. That might be a good thing for beginners to protect their hands, but is very restrictive if you need to work in clinch, or use different types of punches/blocks/catches. Maybe it will become more flexible with use. Time will tell. Other than that the gloves seem to be a good quality and have good amount and structure of cushion. They provide good protection to both your opponent and yourself. The gloves also look quite impressive. Overall, I can't call these gloves as advanced sparring gear. They might be a good choice for the heavy bag punching or for sparring using restricted technical arsenal. But I can't recommend them for advanced training/sparring practice. Maybe it's just me.

Had these gloves for a few months use them for training and sparring, they still have not changed shape and look like new...I actually love them for sparing as they are quite wide with lots of protection on the wrist, I can hide behind them really well and guard my face.Also t
