Experience
We’ve designed this helmet to provide maximum field of vision with no blind spots for greater comfort and safety. Its rotation/transformation system enables you to easily put your glasses on when the visor is raised or lowered. Another benefit of this system is that it provides a better fit around the face and is more airtight than a simple rotation system.
Changing the Visor
You can remove the visor (no tools required) and replace the original lens with a bad-weather lens (sold separately).
Compatibility
The rotation/transformation system ensures that the helmet is compatible with even the widest pairs of glasses.
Adjustment Dial
The adjustment dial plays a key role in keeping your helmet secure. This system is easily and precisely adjusted at any time using the easy-access dial, even while wearing your skiing gloves. It also provides comfort and maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.
EN 1077 Standard
The helmet has an injection-moulded, ABS outer shell to withstand powerful impacts. High resistance to bumps and knocks. The internal Epos skullcap absorbs impact during collisions. Change your ski helmet at least every 5 years unless it has sustained a significant impact in the meantime.
Choosing the right helmet size
Measure the circumference of your head in centimetres (around the middle of the forehead, just above the ears). Then choose the size that corresponds to this measurement. Example: For a head circumference of 56 cm (22.1 in), try a helmet in size 55–59 cm (21.5–23 in).
Fit
Take plenty of time to try it on properly. You shouldn’t feel any discomfort. If you do, try a different one. Always remember to try your visor helmet with your prescription glasses if you have them.
Helmet Adjustment
When skiing, your helmet should be properly fitted and adjusted: It is critical to choose the right size. The head circumference should be fitted using the adjustment dial. The chinstrap must be properly fitted. It’s a bit like a car seat belt: if it’s too loose, it won’t protect you.
Optical Quality
The visor that is provided as standard is a “fair-weather” one (S3). It has a brown/orange tint for greater versatility. No tools are required to remove it. A “bad-weather” visor is sold separately. This is a single-lens visor with an anti-fog treatment on the inside (never wipe, but pat with a soft cloth).

Repairs
If your fair-weather visor gets scratched, it is available as a spare part. A bad-weather visor is also available. The system that holds the visor in place is also available. The system works with a small elastic band. Should this one break over time, we have added two more on the chinstrap.
