How our Endurance cycling shorts were designed

The Endurance bib shorts come with a new anatomical chamois pad. 
The central seam lets the pad fold. This construction technology ensures a perfect fit and stability in the saddle.

Developed for men’s bodies, it is made of stretch layers that follow your body’s movement when pedalling.

Anatomic Endurance pad

This chamois pad is made from a unique combination of materials that offer the protection you need on your long rides. Both in the ischial and perineal areas. It has a protective, high-density, 120 kg/m³ foam insert. The top layer of fabric, which is in direct contact with the skin, is made from spandex and brushed polyester threads to prevent rubbing and irritation. 
All layers are extremely breathable.

What are the features of the this sleeping bag?

We display the comfort temperatures that are determined by an independent lab (AITEX) on all our sleeping bags, in accordance with the international standard ISO 23537-1: 2022. 
Comfort temperature is the minimum temperature at which an average person (female, 25 years old, 60 kg/132 lb, 1.60 m/5’3”) feels comfortable and not cold when they are in a relaxed position.

Choose your sleeping bag accordingly.

What is comfort temperature?

This is the temperature at which an average person (male, 25 years old, 70 kg/154 lb, 1.73 m/5’8”) can sleep curled up without really feeling the cold. For your information, the extreme temperature indicates the limit at which a person can survive for six hours. This is a safety measure, not a comfort measure.

And what is the limit temperature rating?

The protocol for measuring the thermal performance of a sleeping bag is to use a mattress with a thermal resistance corresponding to an R-value of 4.8.
If you use a less insulating mattress, the thermal performance of your sleeping bag will be lower.

We therefore recommend that you use an insulating mattress for better thermal comfort.

Weight and dimensions

The outer fabric is 100% polyamide 20g/m² in 10 denier and Ripstop 30 denier. This fabric can withstand up to 80,000 abrasion cycles.
Durability is calculated using the Martindale test according to ISO standard 12947-2. This test involves rubbing the material of the bag against another material to determine the product's wear limits.

The inner lining is made from 100% polyamide, 35 g/m2, 20 denier fabric.

What’s the resistance of the MT 900 10°C Sleeping Bag material?

This product does not contain any intentionally added PFAS treatments.

How is the material used in this sleeping bag manufactured?

Dress lightly (one layer is enough, ideally merino wool clothing).
Cover your extremities (hat, gloves, socks, foot warmers, etc.).
Use a sleeping bag liner to gain a few degrees in warmth.
Do not wash your sleeping bag too often.
Choose an insulating mattress (R-value > 4.8).
Tip: contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but do it without moving too much as this could create a draft.

How do I stay warm in my MT 900 10°C Sleeping Bag?

Your sleeping bag should be washed from time to time, even if you use a sleeping bag liner.
Machine wash at 30°C, adding two or three clean tennis balls, use our special down detergent (ref.: 8817232) and select a gentle spin cycle.
To dry in a tumble dryer, reuse the tennis balls and run the dryer for two to three cycles until the bag is completely dry.

Care instructions

When hiking, it's easy to snag your sleeping bag. We recommend using our self-adhesive patches (ref.: 8777140) to prevent any tears from getting bigger.
You can also visit your local Decathlon store for a workshop repair.

How to repair the MT 900 10°C Sleeping Bag
