How does the Easybreath work? 

The mask uses Dry-top technology. This system was developed to stop water from entering the snorkel in choppy conditions, during small waves on the surface, in case of submersion, or when the user leans too far forward to observe the seabed. The snorkel is fitted with a float that rises to close the opening when the snorkel is submerged. When this happens, remember to lift the snorkel out of the water and exhale in the mask to make sure the float comes back down.

Why choose Easybreath over a traditional valve mask? 

The Easybreath Adult Surface Mask comes in 2 sizes and covers 90% of an adult’s face.
For smaller faces, choose S/M. For larger faces, choose size M/L.

To choose the right size in store, tighten the mask to ensure it fits against your face: there should be no gap between your chin and the bottom of the mask. 

Choosing Easybreath size 

Having a beard prevents your mask’s skirt from fitting properly. Therefore, the seal of this full face mask is not guaranteed for bearded users. For a watertight seal, shaving is recommended. Alternatively, you might also apply a thick balm such as Vaseline. 

Can I wear the Easybreath if I have a beard? 

You can repair your Easybreath mask to extend its lifespan. After-sales service is available at your local Decathlon store. Replacement parts (strap, cover, snorkel, valves) are all available online or in store.

Can Easybreath mask be repaired if it breaks?

Most glasses will distort the mask skirt and prevent a watertight seal. As a result, using this mask with glasses is not ideal.

Watch out for sand! Avoid letting your full-face snorkelling Easybreath mask make contact with sand as this can scratch the lens. If you find sand in your mask, rinse the snorkel and mask well before clipping them together. Sand can also clog the float valve inside the snorkel. Vigorously rinse the snorkel or use a key you can fit through its rear vents to unblock the float valve, then rinse the snorkel again.

What is the point of the clips on the sides of the OLU 120?

The OLU 120 is inflated in two steps for two reasons:
- first, to limit the formation of condensation. This is where the OLU 120 is innovative, because it has an air circuit that prevents condensation from forming when being inflated.
- second, for your safety. If one of the chambers is accidently punctured, the second one is still there to support you.
The large black valve at the rear is used for quick and easy deflation.

Why is the OLU 120 inflated in two steps?

The Olu 120 is covered with a transparent film that offers a clear view, without deformation. To make the most of it for longer, take good care of it! Avoid anything that could scratch or cloud the film, like sand, stones, sunscreen, or other abrasive or greasy products.

How to make the most of the OLU 120?

Depending on its position, the sun may cause some slight reflections in the viewing chamber. No need to panic. Just use your hands to create some shade, and you can carry on observing.

What can I do if there are reflections on the OLU 120?

The air circuit prevents condensation from forming in the Olu 120, but small patches of condensation may appear on the top of the bubble, especially when getting out of the water. Don’t worry. Once back in the water, the condensation disappears. All the walls reach the temperature of the water and the condensation evaporates.
