And to give yourself the best chance of success, our first piece of advice is to choose the right outfit. This sports bra does just that. By adding elastane, we've increased its stretch. The muscle back also frees up the shoulder blades for even greater ease of movement.

Sweating and staying dry may seem paradoxical, even idealistic. But we've risen to the challenge by using perspiration-wicking fabric in the design of this sports bra. Now you can give it your all without fear of ending up soaked at the end of the session.

How can you stay dry even when you're exerting yourself wearing the moderate-support zipped ribbed sports bra?

For a sports bra that's easy to put on and take off, we've included a front zipper. It is self-locking to prevent it from opening during use. Simply zip up and press the slider to lock the zipper.

Why is the moderate-support zippered ribbed sports bra so easy to put on and take off?

You may not be aware of it, but your breasts are supported almost entirely by the skin, which makes them more fragile. During sport, they are put under much greater strain than usual. Regardless of your cup size or age, breast movement during a workout can exert a force up to five times your breasts’ actual weight. Wearing a sports bra gives them support, comfort, and protection. It protects your chest from impacts and pain.

Is it really important to protect your breasts during sport?

Sport puts stress on the breasts, stretching the skin and ligaments. The absence of support increases the risk of pain or premature sagging. But too much support can also cause long-term damage. It is therefore essential to adapt the level of support in your bra to your cup size and the intensity of the impact you experience. The aim is to protect your bust without altering natural breast movement.

Why is it important to choose the right support?

Prototypes are approved in our laboratories using a test to assess breast support. This test measures the reduction in the acceleration of breast movements during sport. They are assessed and then classified according to 3 levels: 1 for light support, 3 for medium support, and 5 for high support.

What tests have been carried out to validate the support levels of Decathlon sports bras?

Depending on your sport, you will not choose the same level of support. You can choose between 3 levels:
- Level 1: light support if the activity involves gentle chest movements (Pilates, stretching, muscle strengthening, etc.); 
- Level 3: moderate support if the activity causes moderate bounce (dance, fitness, cardio-training...); 
- Level 5: strong support if the activity is associated with intense movement (step, treadmill, trampoline, etc.).

What level of support should you choose for your sport?

If the sports bra fits well, it will support your chest and be comfortable. To make the right choice:
- In front of a mirror, use a tape measure;
- Place it horizontally at the top of your back, on the lower part of the shoulder blades;
- Bring the tape measure across the fullest part of your bust.

Dimensions of the pull-up bar

You already know about pull-up bars that install in a door frame. This one is even better.
This bar is equipped with a blue ring that locks once installed to ensure user safety.
Always check that the bar is stable by giving it a sharp pull before starting your workout.

What are the features?

Without screws: adjust the length of your bar by turning the two bar ends. Tighten the central part of the bar to make the final adjustments. Slide the little blue ring into one of the two notches to secure it. 
A red “Stop” appears if you unscrew it too far.
Balance each side of the bar when placing it. 

With screws: Drill holes at the desired height, using a level to check that they’re even, and insert the screws and tips.

Installing your pull-up bar

Without screws, this bar can hold up to 100 kg (220 lb).
Installed with screws, the bar can hold up to 120 kg (265 lb).
Whether screwed in or not, the bar should not be installed on plasterboard or door frames made of soft wood.
Always clip the blue ring before beginning your workout. 
Check that the bar is properly secured before starting your set by giving it a few sharp jerks. 
Never do exercises upside-down with this bar.

Safety instructions and maximum weight

Lifting your own body weight is often one of the first challenges when doing bodyweight training. Beginners can start with resistance bands (ref: 8484819, 8484820, 8484821), which allow users to adjust the bodyweight needed during their workout.
Once you can do pull-ups, wear a weighted vest 8517613 and 8517611) to increase the difficulty!

What accessories can you use with a pull-up bar?

You can replace the blue ring (ref:  8758386) that secures the bar and the blue plugs (ref: 8758388) found on each end. Our spare parts are available for 10 years after product purchase.
