Wrap the bands around the ankles or wrists to intensify physical exertion. Adjust the bands using the velcro to ensure freedom of movement.
Strength and toning with water resistance
Boost your aquafitness sessions by increasing muscle strength with weighted bands! Weighted bands work on muscle strength and increase the resistance of aquafitness movements by adding weight around ankles or wrists. Perfect for static exercises, they use muscles more for a vigorous and high-intensity workout.
Why tone muscles?
Toning and strength exercises correct muscles’ weak points Strength training exercises will build up muscles in a particular zone. Toning and strength training are also very good exercises to enhance physical fitness in addition to a sports activity. This speeds up progress and boosts your performance.

Below are the positions to adopt and a few exercise examples
Basic position: Keep your back straight, place your feet firmly on the floor and slightly bend your knees. You are ready to start!
Exercise no. 1: Alternating kicks
> Place the weighted bands on ankles and adopt the basic position > Bend leg, bringing the bent knee up in front, and push foot out to stretch leg. Alternate the movement with the other leg and repeat!
Exercise no. 2: Alternating punches
> Place the weighted bands on wrists and adopt the basic position > Bend elbow and stretch arm out front > Alternate the movement with the other arm and repeat!
Exercise no. 3: Abductors
> Place the weighted bands on ankles and adopt the basic position > Stand with legs pelvis-width apart, open and close legs while keeping legs semi-stretched then repeat!
