How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack uses a standardized measuring method: the main compartment and all the pockets are filled with little balls. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container to determine the equivalent volume in litres.The main bag’s volume is 23 L (6 gal). We also measured the volume including the 2 water bottle outer side pockets. The total capacity is 25 L (6.6 gal).

We put comfort at the heart of product design so you can enjoy your hikes. The back, straps, and handle are comfortable because of their thickness and construction. They are made of different types of foam padding covered with a 3D mesh to improve ventilation and drying. The cushioned chest strap is fully adjustable. - Back: 5 pads made from 2 types of foam (PE/PU), 15 mm (0.6”) thick - Shoulder straps made from 2 types of foam (EVA/PU), 8-13 mm (0.3-0.5”) thick

Waterproofing
The backpack’s water-repellent components allow you to continue walking or hiking in light rain for short periods. Note: This backpack is not watertight or waterproof and does not come with a rain cover. To keep your belongings dry on longer walks or hikes, we recommend the following product: 20- to 40-L (5-10 gal) Hiking Backpack Rain Cover (reference 8734213), which can be found on our website.

How to adjust your backpack
- Loosen all shoulder, stomach, and chest straps - Put the bag on - Buckle the chest strap, adjust the height and width - Tighten the shoulder straps (top to bottom) - Adjust as needed It’s now adjusted!
How to pack your backpack
Put heavy items in the bottom and place your laptop and picnic items in their intended pockets. Pack your clothes around these items. Place small, frequently used items in the pockets (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc.). Water bottle(s) will go in the outer side pockets.
