A saddle with a sporty design, carefully designed for kids. Equipped with a plastic cover at the back (a bumper) to protect from impacts.
Changing gears: A single chainring like the pros!
The single chainring is easy and efficient to use: 1 chainring guard with 34 teeth and 7 speeds (MegaRange 14-34 freewheel). With just 1 shifter on the handlebars, shifting gears is easy. The trigger lets kids shift up and down with just one finger. The gear ratios make it easier to accelerate on the flat and tackle climbs.
No rear suspension
This mountain bike has no rear suspension. It is a semi-stiff mountain bike: perfect for beginners taking their first trail mountain bike rides as a family. Compared to a full-suspension mountain bike (with rear suspension), the advantages are clear: this mountain bike is lighter! less energy is lost on level ground.

Handlebars, stem, grips
With a stem that tilts 15° upward, the riding position of the Rockrider ST 500 26 in Mountain Bike is raised, accessible, and comfortable. Controlled braking!
Because kids have smaller hands than adults, it’s not always easy for them to reach the brake lever. That’s why we designed brake levers that are close to the handlebars. The lever is made from aluminum. The levers are connected to two V-brake pads. They are composed of 2 calipers that exert pressure on the rim to slow or stop the rotation of the wheels. The pressure depends on how hard you squeeze the brakes.
Frame designed for mountain biking
We designed a new aluminum frame for more comfort and less weight. The pronounced slope, combined with 26 in wheels, makes it great for kids from 140 cm to 160 cm (4’7” to 5’3”) tall. The low frame means that young cyclists can easily get on and off their bike.

Because the wheels have a larger diameter, they glide over roots and rocks. On downhill tracks, the frame stays more horizontal, making it easier to steer. Bigger wheels are also more efficient, because you travel farther with each turn of the pedals!
Crankset
The new aluminum chainset has a 152-mm crank that is suited to a child’s leg length. This light chainset allows kids to start pedalling more easily. The chain’s double guard stops it from jumping.
