Design details

Before each use, check your Easybreath, and especially your child's
- Hold the snorkel in your hand and move it from left to right. The ball should follow the movement without resistance - Check that the seal is present, in good condition and correctly installed - Check that all the valves are present, not deformed and are lying flat - Check the assembly of the mask and make sure that the skirt is correctly fitted on the frame and glass - Never use the mask without the snorkel
What if my mask is fogging up?
If your Easybreath fogs up around the eyes, we recommend that you repeat the 4 steps listed above, correctly repositioning your Easybreath mask and checking that the size is the right size for your face (or your child’s face, for the corresponding model). If the issue continues, do not use the mask and contact your closest Decathlon store.
Snorkeling safety
Snorkeling is an easy and fun activity for all the family! Breathing through a snorkel is more physically demanding than regular swimming. If you feel tired, short of breath or dizzy, remove your mask and get out of the water. Do not use this product if you have cardiovascular or respiratory problems (lung infection, angina, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, etc.). If in doubt, consult your doctor.
What is the Easybreath mask?
The Easybreath 6/10 is the second version of the Easybreath mask for children aged between 6 and 10. 180° vision, anti-fogging, easy to put on...this mask has it all! New innovative features: A valve that lets you communicate out of water and a “dry-top release” system that prevents your breathing from being cut off while underwater.
How does the Easybreath work?
Fresh air is pushed towards the lens before it reaches the wearer’s nose and mouth, which helps prevent the mask from fogging up. The moisture- and CO2-rich air is then pushed out through channels located inside the mask’s rim. The air is constantly renewed. By separating the flow of air going in and out of the mask, the wearer is always breathing in fresh air.
How the dry-top system stops water from entering
The mask uses Dry-top technology. This system was developed to stop water from getting into the snorkel when there is choppy water, small waves on the surface, in case of submersion or when the user leans their head too far forward to observe the seabed. The snorkel is fitted with a float that rises to close the opening when the snorkel is submerged. When this happens, remember to take the snorkel out of the water and blow into the mask to make sure the buoy comes back down.
Can my Easybreath 6/10 mask be repaired if it breaks?
You can repair your Easybreath mask to extend its lifespan. After-sales service is available at your local Decathlon store. The spare parts (strap, cover, snorkels, valves) are also available online or in our stores.
Can I dive with my Easybreath 6/10?
Decathlon’s Easybreath 6/10 snorkeling mask is not designed for diving. The air volume in the Subea Easybreath mask is more extensive than traditional diving masks. From just 1 m down, the pressure of the mask becomes very uncomfortable on your face. Freedivers also need to be able to decompress, which is impossible with this mask because the nose is not accessible.

The Decathlon Easybreath mask is the preferred choice for anyone who is wary about diving with a snorkel in their mouth. The Easybreath is ideal for shallow aquatic activities. It allows for natural nose-mouth breathing and a wide field of vision.
Precautions to take with Easybreath mask
Beware of sand! Keep your Easybreath mask away from sand, as it can scratch the lens. If you find sand in your mask, rinse the snorkel and mask well before clipping them together. Sand can also clog the float valve inside the snorkel. Rinse the snorkel thoroughly or use a key to unblock the float valve via the rear vents, then rinse before using.
