Water pressure tested for your comfort
The Kiprun men’s trousers are made from a waterproof material that has been shower-tested in our laboratory, resisting up to 10,000 mm of water pressure even after 5 washes.
Evaporative resistance tested
Thanks to the membrane of the fabric, these trousers are also extremely breathable, scoring an RET <6 and making them ideal for longer distances. To test this, we look at the evaporative resistance or RET and the lower the fabric resistance, the more sweat evaporates and the higher the fabric's breathability, making them the perfect trousers for working up a sweat in.
Layer them up or wear them on their own
These waterproof men’s trousers are ergonomically designed to let you move freely while keeping you dry and protected from the rain. The drawstring waist makes them adjustable for comfort, whether worn on their own or as a layer.
Compact and lightweight
The Kiprun trail trousers are ideal for long hikes or trail runs in all weather. When you no longer need waterproof protection, simply unzip the legs (wide enough to fit over shoes), fold them into their pocket, and stow them in your backpack for when the weather turns.
Gently wash and air dry to maximise wear
Wash your trousers with liquid detergent on a delicate 30 °C cycle with a slow spin, or hand wash them in lukewarm water. Reshape and leave to air dry. Once completely dry, tumble dry briefly at a low temperature to help maintain their water-repellent finish.
