Which fabrics are used to make my pants warm?
For warmth, we used insulating fill (60 m²g/m²). This synthetic, polyester-based lining traps air according to the size of the fibres to keep you warm.
How is comfort temperature measured?
We lab test our products to provide you with a comfort indicator. The comfort indicator is measured without tights for pants, and with a thermal T-shirt and a fleece for jackets. The temperature indicated is the external temperature at which the testers were neither warm nor cold. Of course, the perceived temperature varies depending on the intensity of the activity and each individual’s metabolism.
What is the fit of the 100 Ski Pants?
The regular fit allows the pants to be combined with a technical base layer.
How is your pants’ water resistance measured?
The resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of the water column (measured in mm) that the fabric can withstand (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Fabric with a waterproof rating of 5,000 mm is resistant to the pressure exerted by a 5,000 mm column of water. For skiing, we recommend fabrics rated 5,000 to 20,000 mm. At Decathlon, we lab test all of our waterproof products. This product's rating is?/ 5 In a shower test.
How can I prevent snow from getting in my pants?
These pants have elastic gaiters at the ankles to cover your boots. The seal created by the gaiters keeps the snow out.
How should I wash my pants?
To optimize your product’s performance and durability: *Machine wash at 30°C on a synthetics cycle. *Turn the product inside out. *Use a small amount of detergent. Do not use fabric softener. *Wring by hand. *Dry on a hanger in a warm, well-ventilated place. Do not dry clean. Do not place on a radiator.
This product is repairable.
We commit to repairing your product free of charge for the duration of the warranty. If you need the seams, zippers, or another element repaired, contact your store. However, if we can’t repair your product (production defect), we will exchange it or reimburse you.
