Design details

The RCR range
The RCR range is a real treat for cyclists who want a complete bike with no compromises. For this bike, performance was our priority. The cross-sections of every tube have been calculated to be as efficient as possible in the main wind angles (-15°/+15°). This bike falls within the "lightweight aero" category, offering the perfect balance between weight, rigidity, and aerodynamics for a truly exceptional bike. If you want a bike that’ll win races, look no further than the RCR!
What’s the difference between the RCR and the RCR Pro?
A carbon frame is defined by its geometry, its tube shapes, and its layup. The layup is how the carbon fibres are assembled. Not all fibres have the same properties. On the RCR, we use only high-modulus fibres. On the RCR Pro, we select exceptional super high modulus fibres that increase stiffness in the areas under the most stress while reducing overall weight. The result: the RCR Pro is ready to compete at the highest level.
A closer look at the frame
The RCR Pro’s frame weighs 800 g (1.76 lb) painted, in size M, while the fork weighs 380 g (0.84 lb) painted, in size M. The frame supports tires up to 33 mm wide. There may be slight variations in weight depending on the colour (+/-50 g) Please note: Never clamp a carbon frame (top tube, seat tube, down tube) in a work stand or bike rack— carbon is a very rigid material but it does not withstand compression.
Cockpit
We’ve cleverly integrated the parts of the headset so that the RCR steers smoothly while remaining easy to maintain. DEDA x VAN RYSEL combo combining aerodynamics, ergonomics and rigidity: XXS 90 x 380 XS 90 x 380 S 90 x 400 M 100 x 400 L 110 x 400 XL 120 x 400
SRAM Red groupset and Quarq power sensor
The RCR bike is equipped with the new SRAM Red eTap AXS complete groupset and Quarq power meter. A power meter is a must for cyclists who want to plan their training and monitor progress. Total drive train weight: 2,400 g (84.6 oz) with power metre The electronic groupset has two separate batteries (one for each derailleur). You can use the Sram app to set up your bike and view data from your rides.

Drivetrain maintenance
Regular maintenance is key, especially if you ride in wet or dirty conditions. A well-maintained drivetrain will last longer. You should regularly check your chain using the chain wear indicator available on our website.
Drivetrain lifespan
When buying a bike, it’s important to consider servicing costs, especially for the drivetrain. Lifespan varies based on how well you take care of your equipment, but here are general estimates: Average lifespan of a well-maintained chain: 5,000 km Average lifespan of a cassette: 10,000–12,000 km A poorly maintained chain can skip, potentially causing damage to your frame.
Disc brakes
SRAM Red D2 disc brakes with 160 mm discs at the front and 140 mm at the back. The SRAM Red D2 brakes are hydraulic. This gives you progressive, more powerful braking than with cable-actuated hydraulic brakes. You will need to bed the brakes in. Simply brake gradually 20 times at a low speed (20 km/h), then repeat at 30 km/h. Be sure to bed in both brakes. Bedding in creates more friction between the disc and brake pad.
Hydraulic brake maintenance
Hydraulic brakes operate within a closed system, with a hose maintaining the seal between the brake lever and caliper. Over time, a slight loss of pressure is normal, which can reduce braking efficiency. If your brake lever feels too soft or pulls all the way to the handlebar, it’s time to bleed the system. This process requires specialized tools and expertise.
Warning and adjustment
Please note: Never squeeze the brakes without a wheel being attached, as you could get the brake pads stuck together. If the rotor is touching the pads, here’s how to realign the wheel and caliper: - Loosen the brake caliper - Brake hard while simultaneously tightening the caliper - If the problem persists, go to the nearest store.
Zipp 353 NSW wheels
With its 45 mm wavy rim shape, the 353 NSW lets you ride fast on any terrain thanks to its cutting-edge aerodynamic efficiency and exceptional crosswind stability. The 353 NSW is Zipp’s lightest tubeless wheel to date, making it the ultimate weapon for breaking away from the pack. Weight 1,308 g (46.1 oz)
Continental GP 5000 S TR Tire
The Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR road tire is faster and lighter and has stronger sidewalls than its predecessor, the GP 5000. Ride faster, feel more comfortable and get better puncture protection 700x30: pressure between 3 and 5 bar (44–73 psi) 290 g
Tubeless or inner tube?
We recommend converting your tires to tubeless using the tubeless valve that comes with the bike. Tubeless tires provide more comfort, offer improved efficiency, and are self-sealing for small punctures. However, always carry an inner tube in your repair kit for bigger punctures.
Position
RCR carbon seat post Dimensions by bike size: XS:316 S: 331 M: 356 L/XL: 406 Fizik Argo 00 saddle This racing saddle developed in partnership with professional riders has a short nose that gives you good stability and relieves pressure on soft tissue. Weight 144 g (140 mm)
Pedals
Sold without pedals
Sizing
Please refer to the bike frame geometry table. If you’re between sizes, choose a smaller frame if you want a bike that’s more responsive and agile. However, if you want to be comfortable when riding long distances, the bigger size is your best bet.
Important / Safety
Zipp wheels are considered hookless since they don’t have a hook to keep the tire in the rim. It’s the pressure that keeps the tire fixed in the rim. Warning: You must respect the maximum pressure recommended by Zipp—never exceed 5 bars (72 psi) or you may lose a tire.
