At the beginner level, you are just learning to surf or surf only a few times a year. You ride small or broken waves in shallow waters where your feet touch the bottom. We offer a wide range of swimwear for beginners of all body types.

Whether you’re surfing or swimming, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. This model is designed for surfing, but is also suitable for sports such as stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, and swimming.
Body type
For those who want a simple, comfortable and feminine swimsuit, we have designed this 1-piece swimsuit with an open, U-shaped scoop back.The clever tightening system at the back lets you keep the thin straps in place and provides better support for your bust.The round and sensible neckline with slight support is intended for small to medium-sized busts. Stays in place in the waves
Our swimsuits are designed to stay in place in the waves. Our women’s styles are tested by a panel of female surfers with different body types. They’re first tested in a pool under simulated surfing conditions, then worn during real sessions in the ocean.
Feel good in our swimwear
Our work centres on helping women to feel good in our swimsuits. The bust is not flattened, the bottoms don't dig in, and the level of coverage varies. Our mission is to ensure that every woman can find a swimming costume that suits her body, whatever her shape or size.
Dry sizing and wet sizing
Swimsuits become looser when wet, so it’s important to choose the correct size. Your swimsuit should fit snugly when you try it on in the fitting room. Keep in mind that the elastane in some of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
Do you want to exchange your swimsuit?
Are you unhappy with the size or style? Would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem, just be sure not to cut off the tag in case you want to exchange it.
Removal of plastic hygiene stickers from our swimwear
As of 2022, all women’s Decathlon-designed swimsuits will be sold without plastic hygiene stickers. Please do your part by keeping your underwear on in our changing rooms.
