Highly waterproof (15,000 mm Schmerber), tested in real-life conditions
Although the fabric chosen is highly waterproof, the down jacket assembly doesn’t provide flawless waterproofing.It's therefore ideal for cold or very cold weather but isn't suitable for heavy rain.
Water-repellent, like all Quechua jackets.
A fabric’s water-repellent property is its ability to let water bead off its surface without soaking in. By not soaking up water, the fabrict remains lightweight, breathable, and warm. The water-repellent finish on the fabric exterior must be reapplied regularly (every 3 washes).

Vents provide fresh air when needed
Although this jacket is warm above all else, if you need a bit of fresh air after exercise, you can open and adjust the ventilation zippers as needed.
Made with a lined fabric.
This jacket uses a very thin polyurethane film that makes the fabric waterproof but still breathable. More flexible, lightweight, durable, and often more breathable than coating, which is less expensive but requires a protective lining, similar to paint applied to the inside of the fabric.
Repairable
During the 2-year guarantee period, if your product can be repaired (hooks, seams, zippers, etc.), the repairs are done free of charge. Beyond this time period, they can still be done for a fee, at your usual local store.

Between 1 kg in size XXS and 1.2 kg in size 2XL. 1.06 kg in size M.
What to wear under your ski jacket
Under this down ski jacket, we recommend a thermal base layer as a first layer, and a second layer (such as fleece or wool) that’s not too warm. to improve this down jacket's warmth. This very warm jacket is not designed to be worn only with a t-shirt.
How to restore the jacket's water-repellent properties
Your jacket’s water-repellent treatment must be regularly reactivated (every 3 washes). Over time, the outer layer may seem to start absorbing water, even if the jacket itself remains waterproof. To restore repellency, use a reactivating spray or treatment reapplication product, and follow our website tutorial (customer service section).
Wash and/or dry your ski/snowboard jacket:Follow these steps to extend the jacket’s lifespan.
Close all zippers, loosen any ties, and read label instructions. Use a tumble dryer set to a synthetic cycle to restore the fibres. If you don't have a tumble dryer, you can find tutorials on our YouTube channel or our after-sales website.
